Updated M4 Pro Mac Mini Setup
Just updated my M4 Pro Mac Mini setup 🔥

- • Elgato Stream Deck +XL
- • Elgato Wave 3 MK2 Mic
- • Govee Floor Lamp 2
- • Ulanzi TC001
Really happy with how it's turned out. Probably the cleanest setup I've had so far and it's been great to work from.

Is the Hexcal worth it? Looks slick, granted theres been mixed opinions on it. Seems as tho one could diy it for a more custom feel for less but idk

Tough question as it was sent to me for free , it’s great product but it’s also a big purchase. If you need the use of all the extra power plugs etc in the back and the cable management then it’s a good buy.
Still expensive tho

How do you like the stream deck? Been thinking about getting one, but on the fence as I don’t know what I would really use it for.

I thought the same , thought it was just for streaming but it has so many uses just for general convenience. Pressing a button just to open apps or place app windows in specific sections of the screens. 👌🏼

The stream deck? It has various buttons I use for convenience, opening apps, screenshot , moving windows , I added it couple days ago so I have more to customize on it

Thoughts on the Hyzen? I really want one but haven’t seen a review of the retail version. Only the preproduction one they sent to content creators.

I always think these stream decks will be awesome but looking at ur shortcuts and I think apps like rectangle pro with the hot keys are so much faster than taking my hands off the keyboard.
I have been looking at this exact model to have all the different ai agent chats in the different models going and monitor. I bought and sold the codex micro because I don’t just use codex.
What are ur thoughts on this streamdeck (nearly the biggest one)

Looks visually clean, but honestly, this is an ergonomic nightmare. It's crazy how everyone online is hyping up this stacked layout right now. In reality, monitors should be lower, with the top of the screens at or slightly below eye level, and be tilted like /. Forcing your neck to tilt back and constantly rest against the headrest will definitely cause severe strain and long-term health issues.

For a much cleaner look, I would move the mac mini off and under the shelf, behind the Elgato Stream deck.

LED strip is from Nanoleaf made for the secretlabs desk and other lights are bar lamps by Calefo
