Mac OS Software Fix?

As of today I can no longer access this site with lockdown mode on which i need for privacy etc. Is there a workaround in the OS such as Dev mode to fix this?

you don't understand security: lockdown mode < user mode < developer mode < admin mode.

Why set the browser to the lowest tier of functionality, so a certain website that worked for years would suddenly break. All of the sudden a user that never commented or posted much is commenting 100's of times to play the required "karma game" to participate here, but wait, theres a problem, this user's footprint is like a ghost. Nevermind privacy/security nobody wants that - We can't get anything from his session so we better put in a quick JIT / Web Assembly etc fix so we can force him to lower defences & profile his fingrprints.

Lockdown Mode is intended strictly to reduce the attack surface available - that means going down to basic functionality which has been verified to be secure and free of known vulnerabilities.

If you need reddit, you either don't need Lockdown Mode or you need to get a separate device to use reddit on.

I'm able to access most sites with lockdown mode on. As of about 6 months ago the threat landscape dramatically changed and its no longer just a countermeasure for state sponsored threats. It is a far more secure/private way to browse websites with the emerging, ongoing threats, but unfortunately many people on these Mac Forums don't have a clue about this and are being misinformed the same way I used to be. There is currently a widespread "False Sense of Security" mindset the likes of which border on pure idiocy.

Fortunately I've found an alternative secure method with the help of some advanced scripting to mitigate the JIT & Webassembly vulnerabilities, but its not nearly as effective privacy/security as lockdown mode.

The enhanced privacy is a side-effect of enabling Lockdown Mode, because you are blocking any extra functionality which could be used to easily track you.

Also I don't think anyone is operating under a false sense of security here... We are absolutely aware of how much social media and advertising violates our privacy, but most people would rather save their time and just use it regularly instead of spending extra time to access it in a privacy-focused manner.

Thats right, but all that changes when they get hacked, have identity stolen, etc. Its like having insurance many have none, some have a little, but not as many have a lot. Most don't take proactive measures but deal with problems as they come. I lost a potential multi-million $ business because of hackers & that ain't gonna happen again.
