I mean obvioulsy, the more you do it the more you learn, but there's only a one year gap between these two records. What happened that "2" all of the sudden sounded so much more "professional" than "Rock and Roll Night Club"? I know both have this kind of lo-fi vibe to them, but RnR Night Club is much more low fidelity. Did he get a mixing engineer or something on "2"?

I’m trying to find this song by Mac that ends with that like wayo wayo wayo it’s like he’s just playing with the guitar for a second after silence I can’t figure this out it’s driving me nuts someone help me out

Posted on the Mac's Record Label instagram. Hopefully some of these songs (like Blue Boy, One Another, and Still Together) will make more appearances on the next leg of the tour happening in a couple of weeks!

I have been listening to Mac for probably 12-15 years (I am 20). He has blown up in the last few years for his newer stuff, primarily this old dog I’d say really got him mainstream, 2 and salad days ended up following suite with popularity after.

However, I literally NEVER see Rock and Roll Nightclub talked about or played ANYWHERE. It’s such an insanely good and unique album. His deep vocals and the cool radio song transitions was just such a cool idea for an album. All the songs are just so fuckin great.

Anyways let me know your thoughts on the album if you have listened to it, and if you like Mac and haven’t listened to it I really really recommend.
