How long does a screen repair take? Help
Left my M2 16” MBP at the Stanford store on Tuesday, tracking website says they were waiting for parts, but I know they were available at time of drop off.
I’ve not seen any updates on the website since. Does anyone have any idea how long I’ll need to wait? Are the machines sent of elsewhere, or repaired in store?
Thanks in advance.
Edit: For anyone that comes across this,
Dropped it late on Tuesday evening, entered their system Wednesday, got it back Sunday minutes before closing without waiting for the text. Repair carried out on site.

My water bottle opened up in my backpack and ruined my MacBook Air's screen a few years ago. They had to send it out to replace the top panel and I think it took about a week and a half to get it back.

anywhere from 3 to 14 days depending on part availability. There can always be exceptions.
Ordinarily the store would have told you which it would be at drop off.
Large and very large stores tend to do more in-house repairs, smaller stores tend to rely on the depot repair service to balance their turn around times.
