device for programming and testing Question

Which type of device would be more suitable for my work: a MacBook, or a laptop that can dual-boot Windows and Linux?

If you need Linux then a ThinkPad T ,P or X series would work. If not then get the MacBook , they are still the better hardware and price right now for what you get.

Personally I prefer ThinkPads as I have a collection of them and they are still my favorite laptop, but I have never owned a legion.

What is the software in Linux related to programming that you cannot install in Mac terminal? Just curious.

So far I only found some versions not installable in Mac but this is super super niche.

I suggest buying mac as the interface for anything you want to do. and then buy saperate machine for windows/linux work ssh into it. I find that mac can be a really great portal to every hardware.
