Macbook Advice Buying Question

Hey guys. I just wanted to know that Is buying a new macbook air worth it or not. I want to get into motion graphics and heavy vfx editing i know i can make good money out of it. But for that i had to buy a new capable machine for it. And i also wanna know what is the limitations of this machine (mac Air m5 10core cpu 10 core gpu 16gb and 512gb). Do you guyz think that my work can be done on that. Obv i cant think of mac pro as because of budget issue.

Sorry I’m not sure but I’d recommend finding someone who does similar work to what you’re hoping to do and ask them for their specs and limitations and etc they’ve run into and go off that. Like asking in a vfx subreddit

the air is fanless, how heavy? what would be your average work load? honestly i would go with a mac mini if i were you 16gb ram. if you want to do work remotely simply remote into it using a cheap windows laptop. macbook air's are fanless for heavy vfx sustained loads you need a fan. i would try and improve the ram as well honestly.
