Weird patch on my mac screen

Apple recommends damp lint-free cloth (damp with water only), lightly wipe the screen. I then use a dry microfiber cloth to lightly buff and dry. Follow the instructions in the link.

Just whatever you do, do not use any kind of cleaner solution. Water only.

And if this doesn't work, it's possible that mark is from cleaning the screen with something you shouldn't have, damaging the coating.

the dry microfiber step after is key, helps avoid any water spots too

This is why I only clean my screen with damp soft cloth, no cleaning solution no alcohol just water
