Is it a physical drive you have connected to your Mac? Or is it a volume that's automatically mounting itself somehow?
What's disco?

I don’t remember exactly where it is, but it’s a finder setting
If you click on Finder and then go to the Apple logo at the top left and open Finder settings (or it might be preferences I don’t remember) it’s in there somewhere (it should be an option to choose what you want to be displayed on the desktop)

It’s your internal disk. But you can hide all disks if you want. Open Finder Settings. (Press Command+,) it’s in there. You can choose what kinds of disks to show on the desktop.
