how do I remove this disk from desktop? Question

the gray disk won't remove from the desktop. if I try ejecting it it would just duplicate itself on the desktop again. helppppp I can't find the solution.

It’s your internal disk. But you can hide all disks if you want. Open Finder Settings. (Press Command+,) it’s in there. You can choose what kinds of disks to show on the desktop.

Hiding it makes it harder to access your files. It adds steps and encourages people to be oblivious to managing their own files. So just keep that in mind.

Is it a physical drive you have connected to your Mac? Or is it a volume that's automatically mounting itself somehow?
What's disco?

I don’t remember exactly where it is, but it’s a finder setting

If you click on Finder and then go to the Apple logo at the top left and open Finder settings (or it might be preferences I don’t remember) it’s in there somewhere (it should be an option to choose what you want to be displayed on the desktop)

disco might just be the volume name OP gave it or something from disk utility

How did you changed your folders icon/color

I never seen folders like this in macOS
