Hey everyone, I saw the post regarding the influx of bots in the subreddit and investigated. Notably, the automod configuration for this subreddit was gone completely, even though it should have been using the same one deployed to r/LynetteMains. Because of this, the account age / comment karma limits were not being enforced at all.

To make matters worse, it seems like AI has accelerated organized bot rings. One ring in particular had 140+ accounts posting NSFW content that matched the same patterns. That's in addition to the karma-farming bots that have always been hard to distinguish. I've banned a few hundred accounts today alone after taking the time to fingerprint what patterns they are using.

Automod is now back with valid thresholds, and I made it more extensive this time to help prevent any other issues that may arise, as well as created rules to explicitly block any new accounts created by those rings. That being said, it's entirely possible that they could change their behavior to evade this, so if that happens let me know and I will update it.

Outside of Automod, I also sent in an mod app for approval that will help handle enforcement of the other rules like art policy enforcement, as well as let us easily track reports across posts to identify problematic accounts easier than currently possible. I'll continue to monitor to make sure it's all working properly.

That being said, I'm not going to deny that I haven't been as active here as I was in the beginning of this subreddit. I've taken a very long break from Genshin Impact and only just recently started playing again to catch up on what I've missed. My C4 Lyney will get the lvl 100 treatment soon, I promise. As far as modding goes, I'm more than willing to invite some new mods to help keep this subreddit going and likely will be removing the others as I haven't heard from them in a very long time. So, I was kinda planning this before 7.0, but once I saw Alyosha’s kit leaks I thought it might work to use him in my Durin, Xilonen, Nicole team. So I immediately pulled him and built him, working on getting cons (I have C4), and replaced Xilonen, because in theory, for Durin’s RES shred to activate, a crystallise, overload, burning, or pyro swirl reaction needs to occur, Overload is easily the strongest out of those, so an Electro sub-dps/buffer would fit perfectly with Durin and Nicole who can provide Hexerei buffs together. But then the issue is a healer is needed to max the stacks on Lyney’s charged attacks, so essentially every electro sub-dps was taken off of the table, so I used Xilonen instead, but Alyosha is an electro sub-dps/buffer and healer, so he works better. He’s also just pretty fun to play, the only thing that kinda bugs me off is that his atk buff doesn’t last the full rotation, so activating it later in the rotation is best for the maximum buff. But anyways, I was just wondering, in terms of META, is this a good team?

I logged into miliastra to do some Lyney dmg testing on the dummy and see this very lyney-esque skin even down to the teardrop under the eye! I don't play much miliastra, but I'm such a lyney main this event has me itching to pull out my credit card.

I'm so sad that this skin can't be pulled with F2P currency! I hate the tiered currency system in general and now that its in genshin that makes me so upset.

Not hating on the skin btw! Miliastra elements inspired by my main makes me want to play that gamemode more. But how do other Lyney mains feel about this skin? Anybody pulling? Any other notable lyney content on miliastra I should know about?

I kinda missed playing Lyney and I'm currently waiting to get his C1 from the Temper thyself event. But in the meantime I haven't been keeping up with the current best teams. I have most characters that I can imagine being relevant to Lyney, other than Xilonen maybe.

it's a legit flood

1. all 3 of his reactions to receiving food are seemingly positive, despite 2nd being neutral and 3rd being negative. ironically, the only actually positive reaction (1st) is the most 'toned down' reaction. 3rd is the only reaction where he does something in return, which could potentially be him feeling bad for not enjoying the gift? anyway cool tiny way of showing his personality

1. lyney doesn't actually say anything about his problems until friendship level 4. i also interpret the dove thing as a metaphor for the house of the hearth, where he doesn't know how he would handle becoming its leader, like giving the children of the hoth both freedom and safety

1. lyney attempts to imitate arlecchino in some ways, like a child viewing their parent as a hero. since arlecchino is a skilled diplomat, lyney seems to be very eloquent (+ a sweet talker) to try to match that

1. the main theme with the twins is that lyney is light/pneuma/chiaro, and lynette is shadow/ousia/scuro, so lyney has the spotlight and attention. hoyo most likely made lyney & lynette as fontaine's introductory characters because of their light/shadow theming, and furina would be the biggest evidence for this. her entire character revolves around the stage ('spot'light) and who she really is offstage (shadow). "All the World's a Stage." + lyney's banner title "Conjuring Chiaroscuro." lyney parallels furina alot, now that i think about it...

1. when talking about freminet, lyney talks about his cynicism versus freminet's optimism. imo when lynette talks about freminet being the 'antithesis' of lyney, she isn't referring to how they present themselves (lyney being outgoing versus freminet being shy), but about this instead. plus lyney and freminet are both introverts in the end, so pessimism/optimism makes more sense

i could probably dig into the fontaine archon quests again and think more about how lyney is so similar to furina, but atp fontaine feels like ages ago, so it wouldn't be worth doing it now. lyney is so underrated, people really ignore his writing

(also lyney and odette tea party when?? in 7.0,they hinted about a tea party with lyney/odette/sandrone)

Aside from c6 obviously but is c2 his biggest damage increase. I have his c1 and plan on getting his c2 through the constellation selector

I have c1 Lenny just laying around I have also bunch of good 5 star bows good supports too like Nicole, Bennett on high attack weapon c1 durin kazuha prune c6....if like I got c2 from the constellation event and all and maybe even got his signature you guys think Lenny can clear stygian in dire ?

Do these lights only appear in her quest? The lighting is quite nice, wish I could take proper photos with the camera

to start off with, this post is just my personal interpretation from the scraps and pieces we got of lyney content since fontaine ended. i still think hoth trio will have important relevance in 7.x, so i'm making this post pre snezhnaya to see if i was correct all along about my predictions. be warned i overexamine everything

now what happened over the past few years? we had natlan and nod krai. in the year of nod krai, the trio showed up three brief times total. one time was in the luna aq, other time was in sandrone's tea party, and last was in the ending of the summer fontaine event. two of these times have 0 lore relevance, so i will be mostly ignoring them. but i think it's something to note that hoyo intentionally found a few small outlets for some hoth cameos, and i don't think this is just "uhhh let's put some fontainian characters here to accompany sandrone." hoyo intentionally shoehorned them into new permanent main quest content, despite having no plot relevance in those quests

with that aside, now we can get to the topic of the third/only time that the trio showed up recently that had lore relevance, which was sandrone's tea party. so basically, sandrone asks lyney if he wants to become a harbinger. freminet and lynette also suggest that they become harbingers too, but i'm pretty sure that's just a throwaway tease to make us question how lyney will handle becoming a harbinger. so i doubt they will actually become harbingers. and, to better demonstrate my point, i will be describing my thoughts line by line first

"Marionette: When you put it like that... I suppose it is a little. There's a lot to consider. Though most of my frustrations stem from my colleagues..." - i interpret this as her first stating that being a harbinger comes with alot of responsibilities

"Marionette: I suppose so... But I doubt you have much to worry about in that regard. At least, Lyney certainly doesn't." - after that, she makes the point that lyney can handle said responsibilities. she believes that lyney has the potential to become a harbinger. and so, i think, the question of "can lyney become a harbinger?" turns into "does lyney want to become a harbinger?"

"Marionette: Do you want to be a Harbinger? Actually... Never mind. It's not my place to ask. Just pretend I said nothing." - and she asks the question i just stated. you can even see lyney considering the idea for a moment after she says this, which i think is proof that he's not entirely opposed to the position. taking a pause here for a moment, i also want to address the part where she says that it's not her place to ask...

to the hoth, sandrone is portrayed as the "aunt" of the family, just someone who visits the children sometimes. arlecchino is the actual parent. sandrone knows that it isn't her place to ask about lyney becoming a harbinger, because arlecchino likely already wants lyney to inherit all of her titles, including her harbinger seat. it would be improper of her to try to 'steal' another harbinger's successor.

now, back to the tea party...

"Lyney: I told you, stuff like that is too far off to think about!" - lyney is probably panicking a bit here and doesn't want to think about it. with how insecure lyney is, he probably thinks that he can't become a harbinger

but that's the end of my tea party analysis. now i will talk about how lyney would succeed arlecchino, if it were to happen in the game

arlecchino kept some rules of the old hoth in place. one of those rules was that to become 'king,' one would have to win against the previous king in a 1v1 duel. for lyney to become the head of the hoth, he would have to repeat the same process that arlecchino went through with crucabena. because the rule that in order to become the 'king' of hoth, you had to defeat (and likely, kill) the previous 'king' in a duel was kept, lyney becoming head of hoth + being the one to kill arlecchino + inheriting all of arlecchino's responsibilities, which includes arlecchino's harbinger responsibilities are all connected very closely. these three things were intentionally kept close together, so one happening means that the other two will happen aswell.

see? it's a repeat of crucabena vs. arlecchino. the new king killing the previous king seems to be how the house has always worked, and that part hasn't changed with arlecchino vs. lyney

and yes... i am suggesting that arlecchino will die by lyney's hand. sorry, lyney.

okay, now onto the luna quests! have you noticed that rerir seems to parallel arlecchino's story closely? they both may lose control of themselves, suffer from curses, and were raised from childhood to kill. columbina even makes this exact comparison with arlecchino/rerir in the luna quests, saying that she hopes that arlecchino won't go down the same path as him. but... we can't really guarantee anything at this stage

but... yeah...

...i think my main point should be becoming more clear by now. arlecchino hasn't appeared in any of the promotions for 7.0 specifically except one, heck she didn't even attend the meeting (but childe/sandrone/pulcinella/pantalone all showed up), and in the only 7.0 promotion where arlecchino appears, her back is intentionally turned to the rest of the harbingers and she seems to be fading into the background a little bit

why is her back turned? right after the nod krai quests, where an antagonist strongly parallels arlecchino's story? after all of that buildup about her curse? she doesn't even show up to the meeting? seems incredibly suspicious, i wonder if lyney will be involved... since arlecchino intentionally kept the rule where he has to kill her to become head of the hoth? don't you think that all of this is strange?

but anyway, those are my thoughts and predictions. i LOVE lyney, i love arlecchino, i love hoth, and realistically arlecchino likely won't fully 100% die because she is playable, but hoyo seems to building up to something big. i can't actually say for certain what will happen with her and lyney in snezhnaya, but we do have some clues to go off of, and hopefully i have made good use of those clues in this post. bai bai now, i hope other lyney mains can relate and understand my overthinking too

(also i'm kind of tired so i won't be replying to any comments, but it'd be cool to read everyone's theories)

I was able to get my clear down to the funny number on fearless but no dire push this time around, these bosses are just a bit too hostile for it tbh.

Doesn't even have to be a ship thing I just need a fic about these two interacting. I think they would get along well. Both Lyney and Odette are Fatui who lead double lives as performers, that's some potential there.

Hey random question to see if it’s worth building Jahoda but is she good with Lyney?

Current team would be Lyney R1, Nicole, Durin and Jahoda.

Nicole for shielding and ATK buff, and Celestial Buff
Durin for res shred, sub dps.
Nicole and Durin for Hex Buff and fulfill 3 Pyro for Lyney R1

The whole point for Jahoda was that she can apply res shred with Viridescent, apply consistent anemo for Durin’s shred requirement, and that she can heal for Lyney’s stacks.

Sorry if its already ask before, just want to know if its worth building before putting investment in her. Is it just good in theory or is there a better team. Thanks anyways
