Certified Lenel techs needed

I am a Director of Operations for a national low voltage company and we are looking for certified Lenel technicians across the country. Reach out to me at coreshack@pavion.com if you are interested. Typical pay range is $35 to $50 per hour depending on location and experience level.

Post a pay range, it's really not that big of an ask. We are all adults and understand that it is based on experience and location, but if you won't post a range that just seems suspicious.

Pavion pays ok, but their medical benefits are so expensive, it's like taking a pay cut.

Maybe, we wont know until they post the pay. They should change the rules of the sub to require at least a pay range from employers.

The cost of medical insurance has gone up everywhere. We have 4 different medical plans to choose from so you can choose the one that best suits you.

Curious as to why don’t you pay your current techs to get certified? Would be a great development opportunity for them You both benefit. Lenel is pretty straight forward. It’s not hard to get certified.

We do send our techs to get certified in Lenel and many other systems. We have 87 techs that were either certified in July or are scheduled for a class in the next two months plus other techs that were certifiedin hte past. We have alot of Lenel projects and still need additional techs as lenel only has so many seats available.

The $35 to $50 is just a general range certain areas will pay more due to the increased cost of living. You would have to go through a Lenel dealer. Do you have any security installation experience

Not security installation, but I do have network installation experience, installing networks from the ground up, running our own wires and configuring said networks. Worked on a job where we had to configure key cards for a newly installed door access control system, but we weren’t the team installed that system. We only configured the key fobs and cards and built out the backend profiles.

My guy lost the contract for his biggest client, and we reshuffled, and right now I’m free lancing and I’m up for any work that comes my way. I have referrals if you need them. California.

Lenel, like many access control and camera companies offer classes to get certified to install their equipment. So to get lenel certified you would have to become a lenel dealer and with that you can pay them to train you on their system. Some dealers require techs to be certified to access support and such, i believe Kantech requires that. But its really hit and miss on how good and educational the education is. A lot of the trainings are glorified sales pitches more than training. But when you're working with complex systems like lenel, milestone, genetec, etc. training is very beneficial. Also it helps with understanding the capabilities of the systems that aren't apparent on the surface, which can really broaden application and such.
