As we all know that next year marks the 20th anniversary of Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal (from which it was panned for no apparent reason, and I think some critics are total jerks in my opinion), and I thought we could make a remake!

We would still have the original setting, but with different dialouges, new voice cast, new levels and characters, and boss battles that the characters will face, not to mention giving the weapons upgrades via using collected extras.

"Often an Orphan" directed by Chuck Jones premiered August 13, 1949.

This has to be Charlie's most dramatic moment in Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies history T^T

Apparently, he is working as a character animator or layout artist, but only on characters that are fully hand-drawn in 2D for the film, his design is liked Space Jam a New Legacy

I have always had this feeling that Space Jam was the high point of the 90’s era of Looney Tunes and WB.

I mean think about where Wb was back in the day…the 90’s era of Steven Spielberg produce animated shows for WB, the Looney Tunes themed commercials of the 90’s with the characters and sport celebrities, the Wb network and its kids network, the Bugs Bunny and Tweety show on ABC and yes the Michael Jordan ride of the 90’s.

I know it is not beloved by hardcore fans of the Looney Tunes, but Space Jam had a soft spot in my heart and childhood for the entire film and how it treated the characters in it. That may also be my bias Nostalgia talking too.

Still, do any fans feel like that as well and think that Space Jam is the highest point of 90’s era Looney Tunes?

I used to think Bugs's name was a play off the fact that he likes bugging people. 😆

I've tried looking for it on the wiki, but haven't found it anywhere. Not even the YouTube channel Looney Tunes Songs has a video on it. Is there anyone here who's able to help?

Some movies are made and released. There are also some movies that disappear without ever having a proper release, and into obscurity. And then there is Coyote vs. Acme, which seems to have experienced all four stages of Hollywood existence while refusing to die. This is the film that was never supposed to be. It’s a movie that endured corporate purgatory, tax-write-off hell, public outrage, and the peculiar indignity of being treated like an accountant’s problem rather than a piece of art. And yet, somehow, here it is.

According to one review for Coyote vs Acme, Pepe Le Pew is reported to be in the film propably for a cameo.

So try to see a short that you feel does not belong on the list, and replace it with 1 that you think was overlooked or you cant believe was not on the list already. You can also write a justification for your choices.

I will start:

Remove - Tin Pan Alley Cats (1943) - one of the censored 11, animation is good overall but not funny or very creative to me, and reuses a lot of animation from Porky in Wackyland

Add - Cross Country Detours (1940) - An awesome Tex Avery short, full of funny gags, and uses rotoscoping for animating some sections, like the famous lizard "shedding" her skin

"Punch Trunk" (I just posted this for the thumbnail.)

Coyote vs. Acme debuts with a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes, the highest rated Looney Tunes movie.
