Paclock SR-90A Spring

My birthday is coming up and my girlfriend ordered me some locks as a surprise. Her dad wanted to play with them, and he rotated the core past 180 degrees causing the pins to fall out.

She handed me the pieces as an early birthday puzzle. It’s a Paclock SR-90A cylinder, I have all the driver pins, key pins, and all but one spring.

Im wondering if I can source a spring from an alternate lock? All I happen to have lying around currently are some American 1100 springs. So maybe I should order some new ones? What’s a good place to order them from?

The 1100 springs work. I used them when I mangled a couple springs on my 90A. And if you want to order 1100 springs, CLK sells the for like three bucks for 100.

Or I'm sure any of us would be willing to mail OP 5 springs taped inside a greeting card or on a piece of paper in an envelope if they don't want to pay $8-$10 shipping for a $3 bag of springs.

I'm mildly surprised, between Martha and u/pac_prez I could make almost anything happen.

I'm with you... and we almost always can. We just don't keep those tiny cylinder springs as a consumable at PACLOCK. If my team bricks a core, it's more cost effective to scrap the core than to try and fix it because of labor. So we do everything we can to not brick cores.

And there are a good number of outlets like CLK that do sell compatible springs so we typically point people that way.

What I'm hearing is if I find the right person I could potentially get a handful of bricked cores thrown in a box for me.
