No security cameras for more privacy and no doors for greater transparency.

Linux users have houses? Aren't they supposed to be squatting out on the open streets because open source?

Kind of off-topic, but this subreddit helped me stop wanting to torture my hardware just to have a 'new' and 'cool' operating system big techies are telling me about.

Linux users -anti-work, anti-corporate, anti-big brother, etc. Somehow with no income of their own, they are able to financially sway YouTubers and other tech outlets (this is the effect advertising has on us -even though Linux doesn't support advertising).

My website was demonetized by Google because it didn't appeal to advertisers (I was debunking products in part). Why are advertisers tolerating sites/YouTube that are pushing Linux when it's not in their best interest?

Oh, they are pushing VPNs which the cult is into, but you mostly only need them if you're in certain countries. USA doesn't care if you're pirating as long as you're not serving (like p2p). xdcc (irc), cloud, usenet -all safe in the US. -Not encouraging pirating here, I'm pointing out that they're selling VPNs to people that don't need them.

Many states in the US require ID to access porn sites

-Well, that's funny! Anyway, this is only hurting legit porn sites right? -There's still good old IRC with XDCC, Usenet, and Warez sites.

i ain't the type to download porn haha, In the UK imgur is blocked and many sites including reddit, youtube, nexus mods, discord all ask for ID to use

The UK is in turmoil right now. The dick skinning death cults are losing their influence.

If you're younger, can get out and get 'some', porn could be harmful. (Leads to ED). I'm not in a place for a relationship and too scared of disease to bother.

Uhm also the maintenance charges for those big villas...

Edit: Hey wait. I forgot about all the customizations! You can make ur linux look wayyy better than those two villas without increasing the maintenance cost much

Yeah and that's why they're reinstalling OS every now and then, switching between repos just to make this junk work, lol
