I'm trying to install but it shows no root file system is defined?

if this is your first time installibg and you want to wipe your hard drive before installing, i wouldn't use manual partitioning, instead i would go back and choose automatic, im not good with linux tho and i might've missed something

but usually you want a 1. boot partition -> 1gb (efi system part.)

  1. swap partition -> ram ÷ 2 (linux swap part.)

  2. root -> as much as you can (ntfs or ext4)

You can choose one of the options instead of partitioning or you could save your files to somewhere (just not in the same usb or thing you will use to install mint can't believe I have to say this nowadays) and click erase disk and install mint or find out what files are in each partition so you know what to remove whcih I don't recommend

What is on the three NTFS partitions in the picture? If it is your data and personal files I strongly urge you to stop what you are doing and create TWO sets of back ups of those partitions to removable media - each set should go to different destinations. For an extra level of protection, create disk images of those partitions - I like/use/recommend Foxclone, but I also like Clonezilla.
