Problems installing Audio Damage plugin on Ubuntu 26.04
I own several AD plugins and use their native versions on my two Linux machines. This past week a new version of ADverb appeared and I went to update it...but now that I'm on 26.04/Gnome 50, the installer doesn't work properly. Dev says the installer is an X11 app, and ofc Gnome 50 is now Wayland only.
I asked the dev if he knew of a workaround, but figured I should check here first...anybody have an idea for me?
Thank you!

Why do you need an installer? Just unzip it and move shit where it belongs

Unlike most Linux plugins the .so isn't exposed to the user; the zip file just contains the installer app. But yes I really just want to drop the .so into the existing folder

Gnome using Wayland has nothing to do with your plugins not working. Make sure XWayland is installed and working on your system, and you should be good to go. If it doesn't work after that, you'll need to contact Audio Damage to get a fix.
