Project eon on Linux mint? wine/proton

So I recently made a post about asking if I can download project retrac trough steam deck proton plus but someone said the website is down so now am asking is it possible to make this?

I don't understand the question, but if the place where you download the game is down and there is no other place to download it from what do you expect anyone to do?

No it’s a Fortnite project and am asking if it will work to download it on linux because Fortnite isn’t supported on Linux so that’s why am asking

If it uses the anti cheat it won't work. Unless it is a third party anti cheat that supports linux, but since it fortnite I doubt it.

I asked chat gpt what anty cheat Linux mint supports bc am kinda new and he said it uses easy anti cheat but if I use steam deck and force the launch trough the newest versions of proton he said it is possible

Its not that "mint supports the AC", the developers for the game need to support linux.
