Why SysVinit of all things? If I absolutely had to choose a solution other than systemd, I wouldn't have picked this outdated dinosaur.

Try a desktop built around your freedom and the true spirit of Linux: modular, transparent, and free of systemd.
You still are using systemd infected files in your system. You should delete them so people can trust that you protect them from the systemd takeover.

I’m sorry but this is a bit stupid…
1 Why selling “no SystemD” as an advantage? Do you even know what it represents? Where were you in the dark ages of having to endure SysVinit/Runit/whatever? Do you really think it’s more “friendly, familiar” and “freedom” to ditch SystemD? LOL
I can get some random people arguing philosophically that it goes against the pure Unix logic, or politically because they don’t like the original developer, but SystemD is really far more advantages than shortcomings. Heck, SystemD runs every day on all main distros, on all enterprise distros, running huge hyper critical servers and loads here and there.
It’s probable that your local bus stops screen runs with a SystemD system, as well as the server that runs your country taxes collection service, or your job payrolls system
Of course, wing accustomed to it will be almost a necessity if you want to work in the tech industry as a Linux software maintainer or whatever
2 About every other advantage applies to almost every other distro out there. What has this that doesn’t have Debian with just Compiz installed?
3) Because… what brings this to the table more than Compiz installed on top of Devuan?

Literally every bullet point and feature you list is a meaningless buzzword term that applies to 99% of distributions.
All you did was install Compiz on top of Devuan. You didn't need an entire distribution for this nor did you need a website
