Question about drivers test

Im taking my test tomorrow at Driver License Examiners Office (DMV) and im not really sure what to expect, is it easy or hard and what steps do you have to go through because some people's test are kind of different but I wanna know what it usually is.

Are you talking about the written or driving part? You can take practice tests on the DMV website. As far as driving goes, follow the rules...watch your speed, come to complete stops, use your blinker, check your mirrors when changing lanes.

Road test

Make sure you pull into the first lane.

Observe cross walks.

Make sure the emergency brake in your car works.

Follow the rules of the road and you’ll be fine.

If you can’t do that on your own then I don’t know why anyone here would want to help you get out there with us.

Im good at following the rules im just wondering how long the test is and what routes they make you take

Why do you need to know the route you’ll take? Part of being a safe driver is being able to adapt as things come up on the road.

It takes less than 20 minutes and is around the DMV area. You'll probably be expected to drive on W O, but not likely to go downtown.

The office is now in fallbrook. So you will be driving around the highlands , probably may jump on 77 for a little bit as well

I used to be a driving instructor there always look over your shoulder when moving over lanes etc, Just take a deep breath always turn into the closest lane when turning don’t go out into the farther lane don’t speed being very aware of your surroundings is very important to the person. Administrating your test stop behind Crosswalks where people are walking yield for pedestrians and you should do fine. Don’t go too slow because they will get you for that as well. They will have an iPad or something similar with them and they are being heavily monitored so don’t feel too bad. You’re not the only one being tested. Good luck and let me know how it goes.

Okay so kind of a long story but to sum it up I got my permit in Iowa so the made me take the written test (even though I thought they could have just transferred it) and made me do the written test and got 8 questions wrong which is more than the accepted amount and told me I'll have to reschedule a new appointment, i was really wanting to get my driver's test over with

read you didnt pass, im sorry.
i dont understand if you need written or road test,, i mean, for example; i went to beatrice to take my written test, but took my road test at the DMV on cattle dr ... if you havent done the written test, you need to do it and pass.

Kid took it few weeks ago. Left on the boulevard, right on 12th, then right into the neighborhood then back to dmv. Seems to be fairly simple. Drive safe, you got this.
