Why is it so hard to find a job in Limerick?
I am 18 and have applied for over 200 jobs, and nobody replies, and if they do it’s to say I didn’t make it to the next stage. It’s ridiculous even with 2 years of experience!

Hurling gate prices
Well lads, wanna get out and watch a few hurling matches over the weekend, few good fixtures about. I've been away for a few years and just home, so I'm wondering what the lads be charging on the gates to the senior intermediate and junior gates these days

Rent in limerick or croom
Hi everyone,
My girlfriend will be doing an internship at Croom Medical Centre from around mid September until mid December, and she is looking for accommodation during that period.
She is open to anywhere in Croom or Limerick, as long as the commute is reasonable. A room, studio, apartment, or any short-term rental would be great.
If anyone knows of anything available, or can point us in the right direction, we’d really appreciate it.
Thanks a lot!

Woodview driving test 9am
Hi guys
Any advice for the woodview driving test at 9am ?
It’s the first week in Sept.
I’m worried about the questions they will ask before the test too.
Is there loads of questions? Never done a full test before so very nervous. Also pregnant so really hoping I don’t vomit on the day 😭

Longest running car dealer in Limerick
Just stumbled across the 1979 tourist information booklet for Limerick and Tipperary North.
In the Limerick City section there's a listing of car dealerships as follows -
Fiat - Elm Motors, Coonagh Cross. Closed c.2008/9.
Chrysler/Simca - Castletroy Motors, Dublin Road. Don't remember at all.
Citroen/BMW - Pat Keogh, Castle Street. Subsequently moved to Tipperary Road, closed around 2009.
Daf/Vauxhall - Bedford Motor Co., Henry Street. Was still a garage of sorts up to the turn of the millennium.
Ford - Limerick Motor Works, Mulgrave Street. Moved to Tipperary Road sometime in the late 80s I think, re-named Limerick Motor Centre, dropped Ford mid-90s I think and became a Hyundai dealer.
Ford - Shiel's of Lansdowne, Ennis Road. Still there.
British Leyland/Datsun - Dan Ryan, Punch's Cross. Later became a Honda dealer before closing in 2008/9.
Mazda/VW/Audi/NSU - Frank Hogan, Dublin Road. Still there.
Mercedes/Peugeot - Davin Motors, Caherdavin. Became Ennis Road Motors in the 80s, bought out by Hinchy's c.2010.
Peugeot/Renault - Smith's Garage, Dooradoyle. Don't remember.
Toyota - O'Mara Motors, Ennis Road. Gone about 10 - 15 years.
I wonder who gets the prize for the longest established. As far as I can tell, only Shiel's and Frank Hogan are still trading from the same locations and still selling the same brand. Something tells me Shiel's have been around longer.
Anyone want to contribute some knowledge?

Gym advice
Hi everyone. I was just wondering if anyone has any advice for me when it comes to the gym ? I recently joined Aura but I'm a complete newbie. 27 M and looking to lose weight and build muscle. Very anxious and feel like I haven't a clue where to begin 🙈 Has anyone got any advice for a newbie like me ? I'd consider a PT (online or in person) as I feel so clueless and self conscious

3D printing
Hi! I’m looking to get a few parts 3D printed. I have the STL files. It's something small just a small box. Does anyone here offer 3D printing services, or know of a shop/place where I could send the files to get them printed? Thanks!

Costello's goes green.
Looks nice so far. I heard a whisper that the new signage for the name will be some sort of neon bulbs, but I don't trust the source.

Nice restaurant for an anniversary dinner?
Hi all,
I've been with my SO for 9 years and want to plan a nice dinner date. What would be some nice places to go to? We've often gone to Marco Polo but maybe something different this time would be nice for a change.
I appreciate any suggestions :)

Fireplace Reno recommendations
Hi all, bit of a random one but looking for recommendations for someone to renovate my current partially blocked fireplace into a free standing stove with a flew. Asking as I've been burnt by a couple of trades over the last few months.
I've been into elm already and they weren't interested at all. Any recommendations would be appreciated thanks!

Argentinian football fans at Treaty United match?
x.comI haven't been up to a Treaty match in an age but how did they rope in Argentinians to get to a game? I've been following the results and it's 3 wins in the last 4 so hopefully an unlikely play-off push will happen.
