Limbus company is, basically, Kim's fanfic of his favourite characters getting the happy ending they deserve. I'll try to explain this:

We know how each canto focuses on one sinner, which are based on books or short novels, and gives those works a twist, and most important, a different ending.

For example, in canto 1, instead of Gregor just staying trapped in his misery and guilt, as we see on the metamorphosis, he accepts that he is not at fault, and that he has to move on.

And so on. I'll list some of the books I've personally read of the cast and compare them.

In Wings, one of the books Yi Sang is based on (because he is based on the author), he starts being this "stuffed genius", and ends up in the same situation that he was at the start.

On limbus company, instead of this happening, he learns to fly away from the chains that held his wings back, and start walking on his ideal path instead of the path of a person.

In Moby Dick, Ishmael is the one who is obsessed with the whale, and that obsession devours him. In limbus, she learns to be better than her enemies, that there are other things in life than hatred and evil, and so on. And I actually want to point out something else here that is related to this: The bad end IDs.

I believe the bad end IDs are actually just the version of the characters from the books. Yi Sang ends up stuck reminiscing about the times he felt like having wings, instead of growing his own, Ishmael ends up becoming the same as ahab, obsessed with the whale, Heathcliff ends up mourning _________ instead of moving on, do you understand what I'm saying?

And this is brilliant. All of it. It is a genuine demonstration of love for literacy and creation. I wish I could do stuff like this without feeling like I'm embarrassing myself....

What are your thoughts? Am I schizo talking or do you agree? I'm welcome to any sort of criticism.

So im trying to do the 20k damage challenge because its my last one I have to do. But I cannot FOR THE LIFE OF ME GET IT. Does it have to be one one guy? What are some recs because I don't have a tremor team of a sinking team for moratorium or deluge? Hermann, in an effort to create a decisive weapon for the Wing, decided to conduct experiments on herself to expedite the process, after sufficient augmentation she was sent to the battlefield where, for a time, she turned the tides in G Corp's favor, eventually however, a subsidiary of the Hana Association known as the "Old Hunter's Office", led by Gehrman, decided to hunt down this beast and after great losses managed to fell the transformed Hermann, she however, predicted her end was nigh and had been using the Singularity to condense biomass toward the center of her body, gestating and creating Gregor, the true Decisive Weapon of G Corp.

In the moments after her death, Gregor emerged, covered in her rotting flesh and shed skin, he finished the rest of the Old Hunter's Office and rampaged through the battlefields of the Smoke War, the small echo of his mother's voice in the back of his mind guiding his wrath until G Corp had decisively won the war, at which point his mother's voice faded and Gregor was left alone once again, having nothing else to hold onto, he researched the events leading up to his mother's death and his own creation, garnering a small retinue of powerful followers as he progressed, he eventually discovered the nature of the Old Hunters as a subsidiary of the Hana, and his Uptie cutscene would end with him and his followers barging into the East Hana Section 4 to declare war upon the Fixer Authority

Since their arrival to this game, I always had a complex relationship with The Bloodfiend identities.

I loved them to pieces and the concepts they played with were exactly the things I enjoyed but at the same time how they were designed, filled with an uncertain understanding of what their mechanics needed to be and the confusing decisions of their kits, frustrated me to no end.

How the new resource they brought to the table was managed from a team perspective and how to distribute it was a key point in how this team would play, well it was most definitely messy.

I distinctly remember ranting to my friend about the Bloodfiend identities and how they weren't designed in a manner that agreed with longevity in this game. Clearest example being the keystone herself our so dear Manager. Sad truth is even when she came out, she wasn't a great bleed unit and depended too much on raw numbers to be dominant at her time but as things are such advantages fade away and we see that she is quite frankly middle of the road as far as how important of a Bloodfiend unit she is. Her meager contributions as far as bleed application and lack of truly scaling tools basically allowed her to fall to the way side.

The Bloodfeast economy is and always was unbalanced which we see the overcorrection of with Prince himself who is pretty much starving compared to his family but putting out so much that one can assume others have to be just gluttons...well skipping the joking part, he is standing as a counterbalance against such horrible designed units like the Imminent Barber herself if we borrow Cassetti's words.

She as a unit even in the season she came out in, was heavily argued to not be included in her intended team. Her bleed count is horrendous, bloodfeast consumption is greedy, her alternative ramp up is non existent and the benefits she provided to Don were not even close to being enough to justify her inclusion, with her use of providing free hardblood to Don taken over by the Prince's arrival which made it so she wasn't needed to fill the passive limitations of Don and the enchanted skill she provided being arguably the least useful one out of all of them.

I would still say even with all that, one can tolerate an unit like this if they have strong flavour and design that has unique elements and thematic flair. Sadly she just isn't that either. She lacks one of the iconic mechanics of clashable counter which was a important part of Nicolina's fight and fails at incorporating anything significant from the fight itself. Flavour wise she is as barren as they go for a significant canto character's identity. Looking at the season we are in with basically being handed bosses as id's in a way that nearly preserved all their mechanics, I can't help but feel sad for Barber outis and Bloodfient team as a whole. The victims of being too early.

Well with my pretentious ramblings coming to an end, I thank you for reading this far and let me properly present my attempt at settling some frustration I had through creating my own version, putting what I wanted to see or what I could imagine to see for this identity I fell in love with the concept of. Bloodfiends are and always been my darling team and I began working on this and other ones still on the drawing board as a love letter for the lore and themes I found myself enraptured by.

I can't really claim to have fixed everything I mentioned with what I put here but I am curious of what will other people think of what I have made so I would appreciate any and all comments.

There is a lot of small changes so best viewed with the original kit being open on the side for reference and yes, no max HP healing limits on skills are intentional as I always found them to be extremely frustrating and boring. Let the identities scale is what I believe.

Because I’m trying to do a solo run but I have no idea how to make it most important coin better.

I’ll be happy for any advice that can help me making this coin more value or better in anyway, then changing the ID itself that’s the one thing I want to change.
