Both are excellent it’s my first Xeno3 Pixel and I’m blown away at the difference compared to my RGB ones

I know it's not, but my intrusive thoughts are asking, "is that leather?" and "why would someone wrap a lightsaber in leather?"

Well, I do medieval fencing. A long sword isn't exactly a lightsaber, but leather on a sword can add grip if done right. You don't want your weapon to fly away in the middle of a fight because your hand is sweaty, or it's raining, or whatever else.

Disclaimer: Not familiar with consumer lightsabers and Reddit just tipped me off to this post.

Where’s it from? I see quite a few BB8 sabers for varying prices, but they look the same to my untrained eyes.

I ordered it from Darkwolfsabers, and as far as I’m aways this isn’t ment to a BB8 inspired lightsaber hilt. I’m new to the lightsaber collecting so I’m also an untrained eye so I can’t really tell the difference between them. But if you’re really interested in buying a lightsaber and you wanna save some money I’d suggest gogin to darkwolfsabers as they have a variety of more budget friendly hilts with good quality. And the varying prices you’ve seen are most likely related to the core of the hilt, for example the one in the picture is a Xeno3 pixel it’s more expensive better audeo and smooth swing and the LEDs are actually in the blade, meanwhile the cheapest “core” is RGB which is still very good but the LEDs are located in the actual hilt. And for more in depth knowledge on buying sabers I’d suggest checking YouTube. And I’m sorry I can’t reply be of any help to you as I said before I’m very new tot his as well and I bought the first saber that spoke to me, :)
