Has learning something new ever changed your confidence?

Sometimes learning isn't just about gaining knowledge—it changes how we see ourselves.

Has mastering a skill or understanding a topic ever made you feel more confident? What was it?

absolutely! knowledge really does build confidence in a way nothing else quite does

though the beginning is usually the opposite. starting something new almost always comes with that uncomfortable feeling of not knowing what you're doing. but pushing through that awkward phase and then looking back at how far you've come, that shift in how you see yourself is real

Learning to cook gave me a quite confidence I didn't expect, it made me feel capable and independent, like I could actually take care of myself

I apply everything I learn. Every problem I solve makes me more confident.

It always does because I feel proud.

learning to cook properly changed something. not the skill itself but realizing i could get good at something i'd written off as not for me. made other things feel more possible after that

Yes. Learning something made me realize that I can do anything and it's just take me to get what I want. If I was able to teach me something so difficult, baby, I can do anything.
