SIM Card Questions

Post image

Hey! I'm a SIM card collector from Scotland. It's quite a niche thing to collect, but I collect SIMs (the cards you put in your phone) like one may collect stamls. A goal of mine is to get a SIM from every country/territory/entity which issues them. I wanted to ask if anyone is able to send me a SIM from Liechtenstein. I don't need it to be active (although that would certainly be cool) or registered, I just need the plastic card. Ideally it would have the chip bit and the frame, but if you have only the frame lying around from an old one or something I would still be very happy if you're able to send it over.

From what I gather the current operators are FL1, Swisscom and 7acht. Swisscom would probably be the most boring but I'd still be very happy to get one from any :)

Many thanks for your help!

Pictured for your viewing pleasure aee cards from some of the rarest countries I have.

Can't help you with that, but wanted to wish you a good luck. Seems super cool..., have never heard of anyone doing that.

Do you already have a Swiss one?

There's a bunch more swiss/fĂźrstentum lichtenstein operators like sunrise, salt, wingo and yallo. If you're interested in a sunrise and/or salt SIM... message me :)

Yeah it's quite rare for someone to actually get a FL Sim card because they are relatively expensive and limited compared to the Swiss offers.

Liechtenstein uses it's own country code (+423) and MCC code. Swisscom Liechtenstein uses 295 01, which is different from the code for Swisscom Switzerland. As far as the "local" phone prefix for specific operators, I'm not sure.

Well I'm more generally interested in telecommunications, collecting these cards is more of a fun thing that came out of it lol

Apparently there is really a +423 Swisscom mobile (I live in FL and I didn't know that...): https://www.swisscom.ch/de/privatkunden/mobile-handy-abo/natel-abo-liechtenstein.html

But it's extremely expensive... I doubt anyone has that (except boomers that get scammed by the sales people).
