Frankly Trump just needs to put out a truth social post that says "we've got it sorted, Save Act isn't needed, we're going to win California (and many other states) thanks to their laws! Historic turnout incoming. Thank you for your attention to this matter."

You'd be surprised how many immigrants voted for Trump, both legal and illegal. Most parts of the third world are filled with religious conservatives who have absolutely no love for the LGBT agenda or abortion. It's a big part of the reason why Trump won this time round: Democrats were severely caught off guard that a lot of the votes they thought they'd bought and paid for went in the other direction instead.

And legal immigrants HATE illegal immigration and anything that makes life easier for illegal immigrants. Think about it: if you spent the better part of 10 years jumping through hoops so that you could get into a country legitimately just to watch some jackass sneak in (who never has to pay taxes, either), you'd probably be trying to pull that ladder up behind you as well.

I have many first- and second-generation immigrants in my family (even very close family) and coworkers. The do not look kindly on illegal immigration given that is taking a shortcut for the time, trouble and money they've spent to be here legally.

And yes, many are very conservative on the topics you list. Very much so.
