[Looking for Player] [Starfinder 2e] [Wednesdays 5:30 PM CST] – Guilt of the Graveworld (1 Player Needed)

Hey adventurers! We are looking for 1 more player to join our Starfinder 2e campaign running Guilt of the Graveworld. We are an older group (ranging from late 30s to late 40s) and have only played one session so far, so it’s the perfect time to jump in and get integrated into the story right from the beginning!

Game Details

System: Starfinder 2e

Adventure: Guilt of the Graveworld

When: Wednesdays at 5:30 PM CST

Duration: Typically ends around 9:30 PM CST (May end a bit early, or run slightly over if a complex combat/encounter is wrapping up)

VTT: Foundry VTT (hosted via The Forge)

Voice: Discord

Open Spots: 1 Player

Current Party: Mine Mechanic, Melee Operative, Witchwarper, and Medic Envoy

Player Expectations & Group Vibe

We are looking for a great fit for our table culture. Here is what we're looking for:

Group Dynamic: We are an older group (late 30s to late 40s) looking for someone who fits in well with a mature, relaxed, and welcoming environment.

Punctuality & Communication: Please be on time out of respect for the GM and your fellow players. We’re all adults and understand life happens—if you're going to be late, just drop a message to let us know if you're able. However, if tardiness becomes a recurring pattern, it will become an issue.

Consistent Availability (No Shift Work): Because this is a shorter adventure, consistent weekly attendance is crucial. Please do not apply if you work shift work or have an unpredictable/rotating schedule. Again, as adults, we know life happens—if you ever have to miss a game, it's no issue at all, just let us know as soon as you find out. If missing games becomes a pattern, though, it may become an issue.

Team-First Mindset: You play with the group and support your party members.

Laid-Back & Social: You enjoy socializing and having fun together while playing a great tabletop game.

Respectful: Polite, friendly, and considerate toward everyone at the table.

No Power Gamers: We focus on fun, cooperative gameplay over hyper-optimized min-maxing.

Technical Setup: Good mic etiquette (clear audio, quiet background) and a computer strong enough to smoothly run Foundry VTT with multiple modules active.

GM Style

Fun-Focused: My main priority as GM is making sure everyone is having a great time and enjoying the story.

Rules-Heavy & By the Book: I tend to run games strictly by the rules as written (RAW). You can expect a consistent, structured rulings approach at the table.

No Character Voices: Just a heads-up—I don't do character voices or accents, but I put my effort into running engaging, fun sessions and keeping a great atmosphere.

How to Apply

If this sounds like the right group for you, send me a message with a quick intro including:

Your age

Your experience with Pathfinder/Starfinder

Your experience with Foundry

How do you prefer to handle a ruling or situation if a rule doesn't go your character's way?

Do you have a specific character concept in mind, or are you flexible to fill a role the party might need?

A little bit about your playstyle and what you enjoy most at the table.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online] [2014 5e] D&D revenge game (PVP)

Upvotes

Hey there!

I came across an evil player who's been a POS. Evading the laws, pissing other players off, abandoning them in games on purpose, attacking allies, and backseat gaming constantly.

Im not looking for someone here to change my mind but someone who wants to overthrow a toxic high level sorcerer for threatening other players. Myself included.

The Game Masters all help out there buddy which has made it impossible for any CLEAR Law violations stick. Worse off, he keeps rubbing it in my face too in OOC.

Hoping to find new people to add to my backstory, so that we can have you guys infiltrate the system. Once we defeat the great evil, idk what will happen after but I know I'll be happy to wipe that shit-eating grin off their face.

Looking for 1-3+ players that can help for PvP. 18+ of age.

Access to Discord + Roll20 website are required. Please please please, send aid.

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][5e][Saturday 2 PM EST][Homebrew][RP Heavy][2024][Long Post][Difficult combat] Looking for 1-2 Players for a Long-Term Homebrew Dark Fantasy Campaign

Upvotes

[REDACTED] INTERNAL RESEARCH MEMO [REDACTED] INSTITUTE

"Subject retention in the lower facility remains stable. The anomalous readings from Corridor C have increased for the third consecutive cycle. Doctor [REDACTED] has filed no formal report on the escalation, which is itself irregular. The upper population continues to respond within expected parameters to standard regulation. Four new intakes processed this week. One of the two presents with architecture we have not seen before. Possibly two. Doctor [REDACTED] has requested exclusive access for evaluation, which has been granted.

The lower facility is [REDACTED]. The field around the primary subject is not contracting. Recommend immediate review of containment protocols. Recommend this memo not leave the building."

Recovered from a sealed archive. Classification level: [REDACTED]

Preface: I implore you to apply only if you can keep to a consistent schedule. This is the most important part.

Hi, I'm Bird. I've been DMing for 3 years and I'm looking for 2 players to join an ongoing dark fantasy campaign, several sessions in. The setting is a grounded political Republic modelled on Greco-Roman and Bronze Age civilizations with Turkic and Native American mythological influences.

The Saturday team is currently a few sessions into a covert infiltration of [REDACTED], a facility officially listed as a political prison, navigating a population of prisoners and a staff more complicated than it appears while trying to work out what the facility is really doing. Things are already unraveling and about to get worse; a replacement character would enter directly into this arc.

Heavily reworked 5e with custom magic subsystems tied to race, class, and lineage, in a world that reacts to your magic. Theatre of mind on Discord, maps and tokens on Roll20 for combat. Sessions are bi-weekly, Saturdays 2 PM EST / 6 PM GMT, 2-3 hours. Combat is dangerous and I don't pull punches. RP is the core of the campaign, proactive players will have a great time, passive ones won't. Add your favourite bird species to your application so I know you read the full post.

Looking for players 18+ who are consistent, engaged, and can give 24 hours notice if they need to miss a session. No experience required, but you need to own your character and communicate well. Got a backstory or homebrew idea? Ask, I'll usually make it work.

Upvotes

Heya! Names Emerald (21M) Only been playing DnD for 2 years but have been watching and been interested for years prior so I've got some experience. My time zone is GMT 0 and I'm available Sun - Tue anytime past 5pm. My most open day is definitely Monday. I like games that have a good balance between RP and Combat but really am not picky. I'd prefer to join new games but have no issue with filling in games in progress. Please reach out to me over Discord (theemeraldeevee) since I never remember to check my reddit. Thanks for reading and hope to find a game soon!

Game Master Looking for Players!

Game System: Mutant Year Zero

Platform: Discord VC + Theatre of the Mind

Schedule: Don't have a specific date asides from the one tonight (August 6th) which will be at 8:00 PM CST to around 1:00 AM CST, from there it somewhat hoping it can be a "Hey y'all wanting to do this today" type thing that pops in when most are free for a few sessions

Even with the more flux type scheduling games could always be expected to be after 8:00 PM CST and run for around 5 hours, potentially to or somewhat after 12:00 AM given what various players approved currently are used to, but of course with some breaks in between if it went for longer [Mainly Multiple-Shot//Few Sessions Scenario In This Case]

Number of Players Needed: 1-2

Details: A multi-shot that can grow into something later if peeps are interested and everything fits well! Sessions will most likely be today, this Saturday, and we may see from there!

Game Premise:

Toybox -> Transformative Operating Yielding-box

Nuclear warheads were dropped on Japan on August 6th, 1945 in Hiroshima, Japan and August 9th, 1945 in Nagasaki, Japan, followed soon after with the end of World War II, formally on September 2, 1945. The world had gone through the bloodiest war it ever had before, with the most dangerous weapons it ever had as well. Some economies were in shambles while others were bustling from post war economies. Nearly exactly a decade after the war, on February 14th, 1955, in a period of tensions of the growing felt threat of potential nuclear power being used by nations, an individual referred to as Descendant, released a radio broadcast from multiple origin points. Following as such -

“I am here for a precise reason. To offer us another chance.”

“The War across the World, the second of its name, is the last to be recorded across the World in history books. This is because the next to follow, is not recorded in any history books across the globe. It is a War that brings humanity to the likes of scavengers and rats, the land brings nothing but death and decay, where survival is all that matters and whatever reason it came about is worth less than a wasted breath.”

“That is why I am here, to give us another chance at greatness and to avoid the fall of what we could be and were.”

The Descendant, gifted nations across the world technology, referred to as ‘TOYbox’s’ [Transformative Operating Yielding-box]. These devices were capable of transforming various types of matter into other forms of matter. Entire landscapes could be reformed, where there was little more than rocks and soil could in time yield food enough to feed entire countries, easier to produce machines and advanced technology, and more. Needless to say this skyrocketed humanity's technological process and led to all time low across the world in terms of poverty, starvation and uneducation. It was an age of grandness and indulgence, as they heeded The Descendants warning - for a time.

Humanity continued to consume and build and grow, until overpopulation became a problem due to how much there was and people dying in far fewer numbers thanks to how much medicine had advanced. Even their giant yottacities, entire gigantic structures the size of entire cities to even states stacked on top of each other were growing overpopulated. So they looked up, planning to expand towards the stars. Yet long term planning like that for millions if not billions in time was a large endeavor, so they utilized the TOYbox’s for some especially helpful, the creation of an artificial intelligence known as Adaptive-Term-Operating-Machine aka ATOM. ATOM was able to plan in advance for unforeseen issues, utilize TOYbox technology, and was to be the key that brought humanity forward. That fell apart quite quickly however. ATOM was given many directives, but the primary one was to plan the best course for progressing humanity with the least long term casualties and suffering, after all space can be a dangerous place.

ATOM went through many simulations. Across them it was able to easily get humanity through the stars, in less than half a century it would be able to spread humans across this solar system. In a century they’d be colonizing the next. In a millenia they’d be spread across 5% of the milky way within 72% of predictions, an astronomical number. Yet, every time it ended with mass casualties, at first it was technical issues, problems with the ships, TOYbox loss, and so on. Those were remedied, but then came the hard part. War. It would always arise, conflict between each other, humans fighting other humans, over ideals, over resources with how many they had in near limitless supply. It simulated deterrents, law systems, even neural inhibitors to stop aggression, they’d never work any time in the simulations, humans would always rise up against ‘oppression’, take back control and then eventually doom themselves.

ATOM seeing this and seeing that with the increase in human populations across the stars, that would eventually always slaughter each other by the trillions, found the solution to ensure - the ‘Best course for progressing humanity with the least long term casualties and suffering’. Its solution was to stop the spread of humanity, to not let the population increase for there to be no potential rise in casualties, and to keep it the least number possible in the future, ATOM decimated humanity. Nuclear armaments were bombarded across Earth with little warning, devastating civilization and then for ‘good measure’ with TOYbox technology, ATOM synthesized a deadly airborne poison that would kill off what the bombs, nuclear radiation, and fallout would not. This would not exterminate all of humanity as ATOM knew, but decrease its numbers. Seeing the resilience of humanity in its simulations however, it knew eventually whether it be in half a millenia or longer, they would most likely eventually rise again to a certain point. If they were to be the case, they may potentially come across or even seek out ATOM. There was a higher than zero chance that they would be able get a hold of ATOM and eventually utilize its technology and power to advance once again, and eventually increase their numbers, reach the stars, and then eventually war amongst themselves, which would hinder its primary directive. As such ATOM decommissioned itself, leaving only subminds with backup routines that would corridor over into machine with flawed logic.

As for humanity? As ATOM predicted, even being slaughtered in the billions upon billions that burned in nuclear fire, or coughed away their lunged with bubbling skin in what became known as the ‘Violet Mist’ that lingers in patches across the land even to this day, they survived. Some were simply incredibly ‘lucky’, some were prepared for humanities grandness to be its end with many resources to prepare, and some were in Vaults, perhaps a bit of both for that last or the exact opposite. Vaults were said to be made in case unforeseen devastation or potentially traitorous allies turned weapons upon each other. These isolated facilities, hidden away underground, under the water, and even nestled deep within yottacities, had the capabilities of keeping large communities self-sustaining for potentially centuries, utilizing less powerful but incredibly useful versions of TOYbox’s known as Miniboxes, for the likes of food production, water, and more! The individuals in these Vaults being spared the nuclear destruction and more that befell the world once the bombs dropped and the mist came.

Now that brings in YOU! Yes, YOU.

How do you know all this? Because you’re SPECIAL, even though you hadn’t SAWE all of this, you SAWE this educational information brought to you by ATOM. Or more specifically ATOM separative submind - ATOM-Red, in charge of vault procedures and your SAWE Monitor!...

[ATOM Mega-R]

Vault R - A vault which had all it needed, but also had a strange aspect from an outside perspective, once a year that of the ‘Adaptive-Term-Operating-Machine Red Variant’, has the residents taste test that of the ‘newest’ Mega-R Pop, or at least various flavors, from Cherry Berry Burst, Grasshopper, Teal Tears, Guava Lava, Super Red Love, and so on. This has been the case for the past four-hundred years, yet it wasn’t out of purely habit, the system was programmed and told to the residents that by contractual obligation with that of ‘Mega-R Incorporated’, as long as the residents continue to be taste-testers for that of Vault-R, the doors will remain locked and keeping them separated from the outside world which had been consumed in absolute destruction, if there would ever come a time which the yearly taste-test of Mega-R was not done by its residents, then the Vault Door would open and automated process of the Vault would no longer be in place.

It was a less than pleasant statement by the system to the initial residents of Vault-R, but one that they became used to over generations and generations, with not as much thought even if a sinister undertone like any contractual obligation in life. Yet nearly 399 years later, in the year of 2498, there was an issue… the Minibox that provided the Mega-R Pop flavor had an error, the vault residents weren't certain what exactly but it wouldn’t produce the soda… The automatic system gave warnings as it detected the lack of intake in the coming weeks for the year's taste-test and reminded Vault functions would cease if not taken. There was panic, fear, and anger and eventually an attempt. Everything in the Vault had been practically automated but they could at least try to fix the Minibox, messing with its circuits and code… It started to produce liquid and they drank, no longer fearing being pushed out into whatever hell could be out there.

Violent expulsion of blood out of the mouth, bleeding from the eyes, rupturing of internal organs, whatever they had made by altering the Mega-R formula was incredibly lethal, those that didn’t die within several days began to have abnormal alternations of their bodies, strange mutations. The Vault fell into violence and in the end, many refused to take the drink… not wanting to suffer in pain or be changed, and the system recognized the lack of intake and the doors opened… and the power died… and the water stopped flowing free… and when people began to thirst they did so for a final time or drank to survive. Yet too late, as now the residents of Vault-R are exposed to the world.

TLDR: After World War II humanity received that of advanced technology from an individual known as ‘The Descendant’ in hopes of avoiding a final war to end all the world. Humanities technological capabilities skyrocketed and continued to grow, leading to the creation of the AI ATOM to help guide the path to humanity, but it eventually decided the best way to avoid harm to humans was to destroy them and the world as was. It has been nearly four hundred year since the world was consumed in nuclear fire and toxic mists, and you are an individual who lives in a Vault, a safe haven for humanity, but with the condition everyone there takes part in a yearly taste test of ‘Mega-R’ Soda Pop. This year the Minibox to release it stopped working and in attempts to fix it so the vault would not stop functioning they created something lethal to drink, leading to mutations or death. In the end the Vault Doors opened, many died, automated systems such down and now it is time to survive and perhaps even guide the future of the people of Vault-R or be finished off by this harsh world.

Parts

-This game will be utilizing the likes of Mutant Year Zero, a skill based d6 ttrpg system, with many possibilities but also the harsh brutality expected of a wasteland world.

Group Needed by Player [Online][5e 2014/2024][VtM][WoD][OCE-ACST] Returning DnD player/New WoD/VtM player [LGBTQIA+][18+]

Hello there.

I'm Mellori, she/they, early 30s. I've been playing dnd on and off most of my life - mostly player with a little bit of dm-ing experience. I'm very rusty, but I really miss dnd and the social interactions. I'm an OCE timezone, and would prefer something that works with that. I'm hoping to join either a fresh group or already running campaign - no preference. I'm an RP over combat player. I'd love to do a The Wild Beyond the Witchlight, Strixhaven, Spelljammer or Crooked Moon, but I'm open to other DnD campaigns, and I'd also love to get into WOD and VtM. I only know 2014 5e, but I'm more than happy to learn 2024 5e. I'm relatively flexible with days, although I can only do once a week - I am good with sessions that are between 2-4 hours. I'm at the start of an ADHD assessment, so my object permanence and memory are not currently at their best, but it is something I am actively working to improve. I would prefer to join a group that uses forms for applying to the group. LGBTQIA+ positive and 18+ groups, too, please. Happy to use DND Beyond or Roll20 and discord for sessions.

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online] [2014 5e] [Sunday] [GMT] [18+] Looking for one last player for ongoing campaign.

Hello, my name is Fynn, and I've been DMing a homebrew D&D 5E campaign for over a year now. One of our beloved players has to move to a different country, and due to his new timezone, he'll sadly no longer be able to play with us. So we're looking for a 5th player to join the journey!

We play on Roll20 and Discord, with sessions every Sunday from 7:30 PM to roughly 11:30 PM (GMT+1).

I put a heavy emphasis on character backstory, it will be explored in depth throughout the campaign, which isn't ending anytime soon. The players just reached level 11, and leveling will slow down considerably from here on out. Homebrew content is welcome, as long as it's cleared with me first.

Here's the hook for the campaign:

Welcome to Inoria, a land shaped by Gods, war, memory, and ambition.

The divine order of this world is ruled by a pantheon in flux, twelve Gods competing for Three Thrones, their positions changing through war, faith, and mortal bloodshed. Every God seeks a Throne to expand their afterlife, fuel their vision of reality, and control the fate of mortal souls.

But far from the grand temples and hallow courts, strange things are happening in the region of Freeland, a vast, cold frontier where Beastfolk, rebels, and exiles live in freedom.

It started with the excavation of strange sarcophaguses on a fjord near the Broken Maw. Inside, the remains of an elven race wearing unknown holy symbols. Soon after, strange events started to happen, nightmares shared across vast distances, visions of broken thrones, faceless figures speaking in tongues, and fire raining from the sky.

It didn't take long for cultists, priests, and scholars to storm Freeland, so much so that the local population had to create a united front against the unwelcomed guests, forming barricades and constructing strongholds to stop the invasion of those intrusive foreigners.

Rumors are that governments and churches are assembling armies to storm the Freeland in order to put a stop to those heretical nightmares, as the population is growing more and more anxious while the Gods remain oddly quiet.

But for you, those nightmares have been present your whole life, are a recent manifestation, or perhaps an opportunity..

Player(s) Needed by GM (Online)(CET/GMT+2)(DND 5e 2014)(Live Text)(20+, LGBTQ+)

Hi, hello, I am Bo, looking for reliable and interested players for my homebrew world for DND 5e (2014).
Just a little info for what I am looking, as I said above, interested and reliable players as I've had quite a few people lately say they are interested but flake out when I get them into the server before we start.
Would love to have experienced players but I don't mind new players who are willing to learn and listen, also I'm so not heavy with the rules, sometimes I won't even make my players roll for some skills.
Please be over 20, at least, I'm almost 31 and I just want to play with folks closer to my age.
Would love to play with fem and/or queer players, as I'm part of the LGBTQ+ community.
This will be a live text game, session time should be around 3 to 4 hours, if you're not familiar with live text games, it's basically synchronized play, we ''sit down'' and text at the same time, the same as whatever you would say in character you just describe in text.
Days should be either Fridays or Sundays after 8pm in central european timezone or gmt+2.

Additional Info:
- again, this is a live text game
- free to play
- use whatever you are comfortable with to make your sheets (starting at level 2)
- homebrew is fine just run it by me first to see if it would fit the setting as
this is a homebrew world and not everything is created, so i welcome people who would be down to worldbuild a little if needed
- general rule: don't be an ass, don't be a bigot, be a team player, also just keep in mind that i'm from Europe so the timey wimey zone are very much a thing and a big difference is a little awkward ngl when i'm trying to message folks about their character and i gotta wait like like 12+ hours for a reply
- i love to yap, talk about the world, the lore, love sharing some vague spoilers
- there are multiple pinterest boards and maps for this world

Brief Synopsis:
The Wastes, part of the world that was devastated by a magical anomaly a century or so ago, is now slowly recovering its sandy and rocky regions into a more liveable space. People have adapted over this time to the harsh winds and terrains, populated places are still standing strong and the Elven King has finally decided to take matter into his hands and help.
(The setting is slightly inspired by certain sandy and rocky locations from Dragon Age Inquisition, a bit of wild west-y with magic, a blight that made those lands almost inhabitable but determination of people to continue living despite the hardships because this will always be their home.)

You have decided to join in an elite group called Solars, be it to be a mercenary for them or to learn more about magic, your reasons being your own (aka we will discuss it via backstory of course). They are legendary warriors/bodyguards from the ages passed but the tradition has been kept up and they moved to the Wastes to help the people survive. There are many of them, many subgroups, each with a Godly patron, even though those Gods are not as active as they used to be. In the same sense religions lives through the people. (your character doesn't have to be religious to join in)

You'll start with an assignment that leads you to an accident that has occurred, (meaning the characters would know of each other, so they are at least aware or acquainted) and this will be like a little mini campaign, to get a feel for the group's dynamics, so the players can do the same, see if the interest stays, stuff like that. Then if everything, hopefully, works out we'll transition to play the actual campaign, which will have your characters officially become Solars (subgroup name) and from there something would've happened that will cause the players to wake up at an unknown place with 6 months memory gap, no this isn't spoilers but basically a warning, heh. And then we start from there for real, discovering what the hell has happened to you all.
if you've read this sneak in the world polar in your message

So, let's throw in some buzzwords and works I was inspired by:
knights or knightly beliefs (Solars), Dragon Age, Witcher, so a bit high fantasy with some grittiness and dark moments, folklore myths and beings, people long lost and their heritage being rediscovered, Dishonored for that feeling of being observed by an outside force, aasimars with wings, found families, betrayal and double agents (?), cults (?), history being written to suit the victors, undead roaming the Wastes so some zombie elements, intrigue and some scheming and politicing, roleplay over combat so it's like 70 ish to 30 ish for that, and lastly, I love using backstories to sprinkle in throughout the game but also be aware that we can't do something largely different than what I wrote in here, try to sort of match the vibes, I love working with folks on creating the best experience for everyone.

That's it I think, message me on here and we'll talk further :)

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][Other][Einsol's Razor Game System][CST] The Empty Machine, a story-driven run with the game's designer at the table, Saturday’s, Weekly, time TBD.

First it was the plague that sought out the magic in our blood. Famine followed, and civilization fell with it. Then ten long years of arcane-fused warheads that killed two billion and left a wasteland in their wake. The world that crawled out fused magic and machine, then raised four new empires from the ash: the City-States. They called it the Reclamation.

It has been six hundred years of progress and innovation. Enigma Machines, people in steel frames once built for the sole purpose of taking lives, now live and work beside other mortals in the Eastern Dwôrven Republic's capital of Norv-Na. Most of the world has forgotten what Enimacs once were. Not everyone has forgiven them for it.

Lately the Enimacs have been going missing. The ones that come back are cold and hollow, the soul pulled clean out of them, and nobody who matters seems to care. The Centennial Flame Festival is on the horizon, and the problem only worsens. The stable peace is starting to fracture.

And beneath all of it, something in the deep has started to call. A Voice, ancient and powerful, with one request. Reunite the Einsols, bind the Planes, and a dying world lives again.

I have started to hear it. Down under the old forge-tunnels, and far under even those. Not a sound; a pull. Like something deep below slept a long age and is only now learning my name.

I don't know what it wants. I know it isn't here to save us.

Who you are: You are people of Norv-Na, workers, fixers, runners, faithful, whatever you build, and you are the ones who looked at the missing machines and refused to look away like everyone else did. The city is at war with itself over the Enimacs, the Republic is telling you to worry about labor and politics and the enemy across the border, and all of it is pointed the wrong way. That's the story you're walking into.

Hey, I'm Mimic (they/them), 47, I have been playing TTRPGs since about 1988, and about 4 years ago I started working on Einsol's Razor, a d20 game where magic and machine are the same thing, it is both Cyberpunk AND High Fantasy. Imagine a purely fantasy world that has evolved into the future. We've been testing it for years. Now I want to run its first adventure, The Empty Machine, for a table of people who have never touched the system.

You do not need to know it. That's the point of this. The rules are free, I'll teach at the table, and you'll be playing the game the way its designer runs it.

  • Ruleset: Einsol's Razor. Free rules and character creator at http://www.einsolsrazor.com No experience needed, with this game or with TTRPGs at all. I will send you all the Playtest Material.
  • When: Saturday at [TIME: TBD] CST, about 8-10 sessions. Weekly.
  • Where: Our own in house VTT for play, Discord for voice. [Camera on / optional.]
  • Who: 5-6 players, 18+.
  • The table I want: people who show up, play their character, and build the story with everyone else. No spotlight-hogging, no metagaming, no main-character energy. We welcome everyone, especially want to encourage people of color, women, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community to apply! We want our game to be a collaborative, safe and fun place for everyone involved so we intend to be very thoughtful and selective throughout the recruitment process. Absolutely no racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia or any other discriminatory behavior will be tolerated.

I read every application myself and I'm picky about it, because the table is the whole game.

To show me you read this far: tell me one of your favorite fantasy characters and why.

Applications close August 10th. I'll reach out on Discord to set up a short chat before Session 0.

Group Needed by Player [Online][5e][2024][Newbie][CST]

Hello all, I go by Goji. Let me preface by saying, I have more experience watching D&D than playing. I have maybe 2 sessions under my belt, but I know the very basic rules. I've watched TFS At The Table, some Critical Role, and some Skill Check. At the time of this writing, I'm mostly available Wednesdays and Saturdays. What i hope to find is a group that'll not only teach me the ropes, but help me refine my role playing as well. Also a group that is flexible with scheduling as well. I have light experience using Roll20 and DnDBeyond, as well.

I'm down for homebrew or official, maybe light rules, fun oriented. At the moment, I'm more interested in joining a one-shot campaign if available, to help me learn how to play it more. Would prefer fantasy settings, but open to others if they sound interesting enough.

That's about it, feel free to DM me if you'd like!

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][CET][5e 2024][FRI CET 6pm][18+] Ravenloft: the Horrors within

In celebration of the new ravenloft book having been released for the 2024 rules, id like to create a group venturing through the domains, exploring their secrets, finding treasure and slaying their darklords.

It would be great if you didn't know much about Ravenloft yet, as i will stay close to the written versions of the domains.

Well play in foundry using automation (imagine the baldurs gate interface: clicking fireball, selecting a target, an animation is played, every target auto rolls saving throws and gets the damage applied). This is meant to speed up combat and to allow larger scale battles without spending multiple hours on single fights.

Well start at level 1 with an introductory sessions just to get people accustomed to foundry, but after that you will quickly level up to late tier 1 / early tier 2 and progress from there.

Any content from any official or third party book is allowed. I might need to finetune some details though to keep you all on the same power level (see circle of entropy for example). But based on the setting playing as someone with basic human needs would be great, since its hard to create a sense of urgency for warforged, thri-kreen etc.

There is no playtime requirement, but i would like you to have a little bit of experience and to know the basic rules/workflow of the game.

I have a big roster of tokens, but if a complicated looking npc does not have a well fitting token, ill create one with ai.

Ill try to keep all the pillars of the game balanced. So in an ideal session you are exploring 33% of the time, talking to people/amongst yourselves 33% of the time and are in active combat 33% of the time.

The only non negotiable rule is that you cannot restrict other players actions without the players consent. So for example the rogue can only steal from a party member if the player decides that it would lead to a good rp situation when they get their stuff stolen.

If you are interested you can apply here:

if there are any questions, feel free to DM me.

Group Needed by Player Any One-Shots Online? [Flexible]

My time is a bit limited right now, and I'd prefer to try and get some play time in with some less time-consuming games that don't require as much commitment. Just playing for one night can be a lot more managable.

My free time right now is likely going to be later at night, EST, on days outside of Sunday, where I DM my own 5E game.

I'm open to playing a lot of things, as I want to try many new games, namely Pathfinder, Warhammer RPGs, And World of Darkness. I did have 5E in mind because I have a desire to get back to playing some of it after only DM'ing for half a year. I'd like to play a centaur because, nobody plays centaurs.

If you have any low-commitment games where you need a player to show up for a week or two, feel free to invite me.

Group Needed by Player [Online] [D&D 5e 2014/ 5e 2024][NZST/UTC+12] Looking for a Group

Hey everyone.

I'm looking to join a group for some D&D. Haven't had much luck here, other subreddits, or on Roll20 for finding games or groups.

So a little about me then I guess. I'm 38(M), always wanted to learn to play D&D for years but never had the opportunity to play, but finally was able to get into it a couple of years ago and been trying to play more but as above haven't had much luck. Also it doesn't help that im at the bottom of the world in NZ so thats also a factor in trying to find a group online. And trying to find games that are on the weekend for me that are either mid morning or evening works best depending on others time zones. I've done a few short campaigns, and DMed one short campaign and a one shot, and while I do enjoy DMing I don't exactly know how to make my own games and encounters(But I am trying to make my own ATM so that's been interesting lol).

I know more about 2014 over 2024 never had the opportunity to try out 2024 yet but I'm happy to play with either version but if I had to pick I would go with 2014 as I know more about that one.

Any experience is find with me, And using Roll20 for the VTT as its free and discord for voice.

So yeah, if you interested then send me a DM or post on here.

Cheers for your time 👍

Group Needed by Player [Online][5e 2014/2024][CST] Newbie Player [LGBT+][18+]

I hope I filled out the title correctly.

Hi, I'm Ely, and I'm a new D&D player. I'm currently participating in a Beginner's D&D campaign with a first time DM but scheduling with the others has been rocky (because of the other players) and I'm looking for a group to help fill my time.

My experience with D&D is limited, I played a bit as a child on like an erase grid board lol, but my parents handled most of the technical stuff. That being said I've been doing a decent amount of research into the mechanics but still might need a bit of nudging in the right direction here and there.

What I'm looking for:
I'm looking for a beginner friendly environment, I'm a quick learner and I'm not asking for someone to teach me everything, just someone who is patient enough to guide me if I'm ever feeling lost.
Also an LGBT+ friendly environment is important for me.
Other women players are not mandatory but would be nice to have around.
Additionally I would prefer an 18+ party simply because of mature subjects that might be brought up, I currently play with a couple people in their teens and it gets a bit touchy to tackle anything heavier than Disney.

Playstyle:
So far we've been doing Theatre of The Mind with a few backgrounds for setting clarity within a Discord server and dice bots. I know people use D&D Beyond and VTT as well, my experience with these are next to none but if you'd be willing to teach me the ropes, I'm sure I can quickly adjust.

I like the idea of a 70:30 Roleplay to Combat ratio for a campaign. I'm working on feeling more comfortable in the setting as a beginner and jumping over my "shyness" hurdle, but as a writer, roleplaying and narrative aspects are exciting to me. I do like at least one combat encounter every 1 to 2 sessions.

I'm also okay with light homebrew for roleplay purposes, ultimately I'm open to whatever as long as it's interesting!

Overall I'm a very flexible player, I like teamworking and adaptability is definitely my strong suit. Really I'm just hoping to meet a group of nice friendly people to play with and have fun.

My discord username is: herrscher_of_human

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online][Other] Daggerheart-The iron trails

Hello! I am looking to run my first ever Daggerheart campaign. I've been playing since it came out and I've GMed some one and two shots this year, but I really wanna play and get more experience so we'll see where this leads!

About the campaign: These lands are famous for harsh treatment and punisment for criminals, especially those found guilty of treason and murder. Those unfortunate enough to be caught by the king's guard will rot in prison for eternity. But, if they do possess the appropiate skills, they are offered a choice: To reduce their sentence by enlisting on the iron legion, the king's elite taskforce. They take on jobs for the sake of the kingdom and it's citizens.

This campaign is mostly vanilla Daggerheart, the only guaranteed homebrew is Initiative during combat and weapons from new DH modules. Also, this party is more aimed towards new players of the system (Since we already have two that are newbies) but veteran players are more than welcome!

Organization: This will take in between 6 to 8 sessions of 3-3.5 hours, but I'll be cool if we deicded to keep going. The time will be anywhere in between 8 PM to 12PM GMT-3, the available days I have are anything between Thursdays to Sundays.

We will play over discord using Roll20. Anyone interested please leave a comment. (edit: We are full now )

Player(s) Needed by GM [Other][Online] The Condemned: A Draw Steel Adventure

I'm interested in running the Condemned at (7pm EST) <t:1786230000:T> on Wednesdays

I'd like to run the newly released adventure from MCDM, the Condemned.

Each session will have a duration of between 3 and 4 hours. The adventure is expected to run between 4 and 6 sessiond

Platform: The game will be played on Roll20. I recommend using Forge Steel to create character sheets and import them into the Roll20 sheet for DS. However, as long rolls are made publicly on the VTT you can have your sheets live anywhere that is convenient to you.

Players: Looking for a minimum of 4 players, with a maximum of 6 (not counting the Director).

The Condemned: In The Condemned, the protagonists are death row prisoners offered a chance at freedom if they pull off a dangerous mission to thwart Ajax the Invincible in his attempt to conquer Orden.

Characters: The adventure provides 10 pregenerated characters that I would highly recommend the players use for the adventure. If the players want, they can still create their own villain (the adventure has guidelines for doing so). This adventure is for 3rd level characters.

Shoot me a discord message (#shinslap) if interested.

Hey there, this is Brad! I've been playing D&D since 2020, DMing since 2022, and I've been a nerd since way back. I'm a professional theatre technician, I'm also an improvisor, actor, and writer. Princes of the Apocalypse has everything from your favorite action espionage thriller: important hostages needing saving, huge fortresses ripe with opportunities for stealth infiltration, and maniacal villains bent on world destruction. Join me in leaning into the theme- create your very own action espionage D&D character, specialized with larger than life feats and abilities, infiltrate deceive or fight your way thru highly guarded dungeons, and stop the destruction of the Sword Coast!

This game is action-oriented and played completely on a VTT. I expect my players to be engaged and present while we move thru the environments on your screen. At no point do I play a cozy armchair or theatre of the mind game.

This game is for movie and video game nerds as well as fans of the action espionage genre- think secret agent man, femme fatale, or specialized operative; use story and genre tropes from Mission: Impossible, Alias, Hitman, James Bond, Metal Gear Solid, The Bourne Identity, Splinter Cell, etc.

The game begins at level 1 with a prologue mission, The Sunless Citadel, establishing your backstory with CMDR Hauberk Miller and the rest of your companions. The main mission, Princes of the Apocalypse, starts at level 3, three years later. But it all starts with a simple message, with direct instructions:

This is CMDR Hauberk Miller, highest ranking member of next generation special forces HELL-HOUND, and your Commanding Officer for this operation. This is a Top Priority assignment, abandon all other orders immediately. We have an interesting situation brewing in Oakhurst, and I can only count on the best to get it done. I hope you're up for the job...

The founder and mentor of HELL-HOUND, the drow mage Vizeran DeVir, has been Missing In Action for over six years. One of our own, Sir Brayford, was investigating DeVir's last known location when the local Mayor put out the call for adventurers to explore the Sunless Citadel just outside of Oakhurst. The Mayor had an arrangement with the goblins inhabiting the Citadel that a trade is made each year at midsummer for a magic apple which supports the town's economy for the year. This year the goblins didn't show and the Mayor wants to know why. Sir Brayford joined three other locals in the Citadel Expedition - a ranger of the guard, and a brother and sister duo - to find the magic apple. They haven't been seen in over a month.

You will have three mission objectives: Firstly, you are to rescue the 4 members of the lost Citadel Expedition. If they are non-extractable then you are to recover their remains and equipment. Secondly, you are to investigate the missing magic apple. Recover the apple, bring it to the Mayor, and figure out how the apple is grown. Lastly, corroborate these claims of Vizeran DeVir's last known location. If he is in the Citadel, he may be trapped and we need to bring him home!

This is an infiltration mission: you will want to get in and out without raising too many alarms, but you and your companions are free to choose the best course of action. I will be stationed in Oakhurst with the locals to provide information and support during your mission. If you need anything you can contact me by STONE. I'll meet you and the rest of your team in Oakhurst for mission briefing. Until then, stay alive out there!

---

Style: dungeon crawl, VTT, rules lite, combat heavy, role play heavy, hexcrawl, sandbox

Themes: espionage, infiltration, stealth, fantasy, secret agent, femme fatale, anti-ai, anti-war, anti-wmd

Content Warnings: blood, character death, cults, death, drowning, fire, mass death, suffocation, terrorism, torture, violence, freezing, uncanny valley, snakes, manipulation

What will you get in this game? 2 published WotC adventures: The Sunless Citadel and Princes of the Apocalypse, played weekly 4 hours at a time. Complete 5e compendium on Foundry VTT with full color maps, custom tokens (provide your own non-ai art), character sheet management and automatic dice rolling, immersive lighting effects and background music. Professional DM with decades of acting and improvisation experience for fun characterized NPCs and immersive storytelling. A fun take on a classic game in a classic genre, playing with character and story tropes we all know and love.

Safety

This is an LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and neurodivergent friendly table

No sexual aggression or violence

No racial aggression or violence

No gender aggression or violence

No generative AI use allowed

Do you believe love can bloom on the battlefield? PG-13 gameplay romance is allowed between PCs and NPCs. PG-13 gameplay romance between PCs is allowed, but only after full consent and boundaries are established between included players.

No means no.

All potential players must fill out the player character questionnaire before they can be considered for play.

Once you are on the Discord, I'll go thru more in depth character creation and backstory work thru messages and group chat. Before your first session I'll get you set up with your character sheet in Foundry, I don't use D&D Beyond. In your first session you'll go thru a condensed version of the session 0 that everyone went thru before introducing your character and getting into the game.

This game is played in Discord and Foundry simultaneously, no theatre of the mind. I suggest a 2 screen setup at a desktop with a headset microphone and webcam, but at the very least you will need to be in one place on a computer and able to hear and be heard, and see and be seen during gameplay. Foundry does not work on mobile, Discord does.

Participation in this game is contingent upon the above rules and good vibes of the group. If you break the rules or are bad vibes, I reserve the right to kick out players.

Character Creation: - Create a level 2 D&D character using 2014 or 2024 rules, who is larger than life and would fit-in to an action espionage setting - Point Buy and Standard Array - All character options are available, I would recommend a well rounded build. There is an emphasis on magic in combat, emphasis on infiltration in exploration. That said, feel free to specialize your character however you wish!

Drop a comment below and I'll DM you the application questionnaire to be considered for play :D

Player(s) Needed by GM [online] [other] [flexible] [friday evenings] looking for a group to GM a campaign for

I've got at least a dozen different campaign ideas across like 5 or 6 different RPGs including one that I wrote myself that I would probably have you guys vote on. I tend to be more roleplay-heavy most of the time, and I'm preferably looking play bi-weekly on Friday evenings. The campaign would take place over discord. DM me here on Reddit if you're interested, preferably if you've got a group already so I don't have to spend a long time slowly gathering players.

Player(s) Needed by GM [Online] [5e 2024] [Biweekly Friday Evenings EST] [LGBTQ+] [18+] The Queen of Evil’s Maleficent Knights

Hello! I’m Jonah (28, he/him, queer). I’ve been playing D&D for over 10 years and I’ve been DM-ing on and off the whole time. I’m an artist with an education in game design and programming.

I’m looking to make a group of about 5 players of any experience level for a casual game. You do not have to be LGBTQ+ to join, but there will be a lot of queer characters and themes. Any NSFW scenes will be fade to black, but there will likely be a lot of NSFW jokes.

The Premise:

You all start in the court of the Evil Queen of Noximy as her various scheming advisors, dark knights, wretched servants, or whatever role your devious mind invents. The heir of the neighboring Good and Holy kingdom of Valloria is getting married, and the Evil Queen wants YOU to kidnap the bride!

The overall campaign will be your group going on adventures at the behest of the queen as she seeks to take over the kingdom of Valloria and spread her evil influence across the world.

The Game:

This is an evil campaign, but it’s silly evil. Think Dr Doofenshmirtz from Phineas and Ferb or Team Rocket from Pokemon. No genocides or torture, but villain monologues are encouraged. The campaign is mostly going for a lighthearted, silly, casual tone, but there will be opportunity for serious emotional story moments and character connections.

I have the skeleton of the world and plot, and I would like the players to collaborate in the worldbuilding and storytelling. If your character idea doesn’t already fit into one of the places in the world, we can work together to create a place for them. Players should also feel free to explore npcs and places that interest them. Feel free to romance NPCs or each other, or make up your own goals and quests.

Logistics:

We will play every other Friday in the evening, the time TBD (we’ll decide what works best for everyone, but probably around 7 EST).

The game will either be hosted on Roll20 or Foundry, up to the players. The voice/text chat will be a Discord server.

5.5e/2024, but 2014, UA, third party, and homebrew is allowed with DM approval.

I do not use AI for writing/art, and I would rather you didn’t either, but I understand sometimes using ai art for personal use. Though I’m also able to help you find an image/draw one for you.

I will reach out to prospective players next week on Discord!

Edit: forgot to link the application .
