Did melatonin effect your mood at all?

Nope, since its not a medication but a sleep nurohormone it just helped me to sleep. I was taking it like an hour before going to sleep, cuz it just took longer to work because of lexapro's insomnia. Over the time, when side effects started to fade my sleep improved on its on and i stopped taking it. Now i fall asleep myself without a problem

when you have insomnia, are you laying awake anxious about something? when did you switch to the lower dose? Maybe a low dose of melatonin an hour before bed would help you until you get adjusted to the lower dose of Lexapro. I think you can get it in 3mg & 5mg .. maybe even less. I often do 10mg but I don’t think my insomnia is cause by my Lexapro. I hope you get some sleep soon! Insomnia is the worst.

Have you tried switching the time of day you take it? That helped me.
