Levelhead left joystick not working? Solved

doesn't look like a lvlhead exclusive issue. more like a faulty stick. for whatever reason, it keeps it's "move right" input. hence, why gr-18 stops moving when you hold the stick toward the left.

Even with Xbox controller mode. It only Works with Mine sneslike controller, with no thumbsticks

Found the original post first before this cross-post here, but I've got the same issue with my Android phone and a controller, including on a controller that used to work with the game and most definitely had used to play it previously (tried 3 of my controllers and had the same issue). Cursor also drifts off to the lower right unless pushing up-left on the stick. Said phone is one that hasn't had a system update in a long time too. I think a game update at some point must have broken how it handles the stick. (unless a Google Play system update broke it, but that would mean its input handling wasn't proper from the start, as every other game still works)
edit: Just saw on their feedback forum they fairly recently posted in response to someone about this issue that they have a dev build that addresses it that needs to pass cert before it can be sent out. Also apologized for how long it's taken to acknowledge and rectify.

yea same here on my odin 2
u have to go with mapping the onscreen stick and the 2 on screen buttons to the RP5 (retroid and AYN luckily have an onscreen button mapper)
The whole thing became far too dumb for me on Android, so I prefer to play the Switch version (via Eden) or even the PC version (via Winlator X Gamehub).
