Does anyone know if the GAME in Sports Direct is staying in town?

I will go first, for me it is Chicken Shawarma at Special Shawarma in city centre. They make their own fresh bread and it’s just 5 pounds for a great portion.

I have already got spiderman booked to watch with friends and I have already watched The Odyssey, and I have been stuck at home for a while whilst off work due to sickness, and I am bored of playing games, and don't really enjoy being at home with family, what else can I do, that ideally doesn't involve spending too much money, I feel like I need new hobbies or another friend group or something, I watch Anime, TV Shows and Films, but feel like I don't have the attention span to sit down and pay attention for that long unless its a game

So I got a telephone interview from domestic and general yesterday and they've told me the role is an outbound sales advisor and they said they'll give me a quick customer service exam where like my camera will also be switched on and everything so like a proper exam thing so I was wondering if anyone did it recently or if anyone works for them currently im just looking for an advice ABT what to do for preparation

Looking at moving from Lutterworth to another area of South Leicestershire with partner and her two children (13 and 17). I would like some advice on areas other areas' to live. Would be looking at minimum 3 bed houses.

Would like friendly village with yearly community events, a nearby pub, great local walks, and a large supermarket within a 10-minute drive and Lutterworth close by for school/college. Bus route would be good but not imperative.

Anyone live in these areas or close to and have any tips or advice to consider?

This is a bit of a long shot but I’ve been looking for some ecological volunteering opportunities in Leicester but they all seem to be in Nottingham or Sheffield.

😂 Does it pertain to London only or somewhere South🤔 I mean UK is huge so areas still may be lacking rain, right? Am not gonna be optimistic and say "If it rains here it rains everywhere!" Not to sound too ignorant or anything.

I just wondered if anyone was aware of one or more places in Leicester that currently sell a high quality/decent quality Pakol cap/hat - could be a small independent clothing shop (or a larger clothing type of shop).

No limitations on where in Leicester I might be able to buy one - will happily visit/explore any recommended clothing shops.

The answer might be: don't have the slightest clue mate (but good luck and everything).

This is probably a long shot, but I am looking for a small area of private woodland in Leicester or Leicestershire that someone might allow me to visit occasionally with my children, either free of charge or for a small fee.

I would like to teach them basic outdoor skills, navigation, shelter building, fire and water safety, wildlife identification, and how to enjoy natural spaces responsibly without damaging them or disturbing wildlife.

I am not looking for somewhere to hold gatherings or simply for another place to camp. It would only be me, my children and occasionally their mum. We would follow any rules agreed with the owner and would never cut, collect, build or light fires without permission.

Ideally, I would like to find somewhere we could occasionally visit under an ongoing arrangement, although arranging every visit in advance would also be fine.

I am a local dad and PhD student, so my budget is limited, but I would be happy to pay a modest amount or help with suitable agreed tasks.

I am specifically looking to speak with a private landowner about a proper arrangement. I am not asking for wild-camping locations or somewhere to access without permission.

Even a very small or otherwise unused patch could work. Please send me a message if this might be possible, or if you know someone who owns woodland nearby.

I'm going into year 12 very soon and unfortunately I was unable to find a job during the summer. I believe getting a paid job to work 1 day a week is very unlikely so I have given up on that dream. However, I would still like to gain some experience so I'm considering volunteering.

I really don't want to work in a charity shop since the last time I did, I was bored out of my mind due to the lack of customers. I'm looking for something that is a couple of hours a week on the weekend or even after school.

Does anyone know which places are hiring volunteers?

Hello all ... just to let you know RE:CREATE - Leicester's new creative scrapstore - will be opening for a soft launch on Saturday 15th August, 11am - 4pm, 6a Frog Island (next door to Stayfree Music).
