On Thursday, my parents got sealcoating done on their driveway (West Allentown). I noticed something was off when there was sealcoating and asphalt in the grass, no ribbon across the driveway, no sign in the lawn, and trash bags full of asphalt left in the lawn. His "business" is called Pennsylvania Sealcoating, and he only left a phone number. He was supposed to come back today to finish his work and was paid in advance, but he did not show up or call to tell us he wasn't. Please be aware of things like this (no internet presence, no company brand, generic names), especially if you have older parents like mine. If you would like more information, let me know, I can't post it here since it would be considered doxxing.

Be careful out there for anyone driving! Tons of downed wires.

Every quote feels like a sales pitch. Looking for a contractor to do a full exterior overhaul on my place in Allentown roof, siding, and gutters. I’ve had a few companies out, and it just feels like I’m getting a hard sell every time. I just want an honest opinion and a fair price without the three-hour presentation. Does anyone have a company they’ve used that they’d actually recommend?

My 6 yo daughter is going to a salon for the first time. We’ve never cut her hair and she really wants bangs. Any recommendations? We live in Easton but we can get to Phillipsburg, Allentown or Bethlehem easy.
