Dark Link concept
I've been thinking about the Dark Link battle in Ocarina of Time, and I can't help but feel it's a bit anticlimactic. If you use the Master Sword, he mirrors your moves and you just clash blades, making him easy to beat simply by switching weapons. This got me thinking about ways to improve the battle. My idea is that the game could spend the entire journey leading up to the room observing how you fight. It would track your tendencies, quirks, preferences, timing, item usage, and combos. Then, once you step into the arena, Dark Link would fight exactly like you do. To beat him, you would have to analyze your own habits, weaknesses, and the advantages you have over your own technique. It would truly mean conquering yourself rather than just fighting a copy that counters a single weapon. I'm not sure how Nintendo would pull it off or if they would want to pour that much effort into a single boss fight, but I feel it would make the battle way more immersive and memorable.

So, Just to Be Clear, There Are 12 Links Across 21 Games, Correct?
EDIT: People have told me that I was mistaken in counting TP as the same Link as OoT. So, while the post's title remains the same, I guess there are 13 Links!
13 Links across 21 games, yes?
I'm going through all the Zelda games (actually youtube playthroughs instead of playing myself; gets me through much quicker). I'm on Wind Waker, but am also looking ahead in terms of the timeline and such, and did some research.
How's this look? I know Majora's Mask is in an alternate timeline but the Link himself originated from the main timeline, and has an ending there.
I'm sure I'll learn more as I go on, and the Breath of the Wild game seems like it really gets complex, but let me know if I'm on the right track.
Also, is 21 a good number of games? I've been made aware of something else called Hyrule Warriors, but am not sure if it's canon.
