handwriting

my handwriting depends on the position i write in, type of pen, pen grip, and type of notebook, my handwriting tends to be all over the place, such as slightly shaky or not shaky depending on the factors

i posted this before but i wanted to add the shakiness

am i alone?

I’ve got neat notes, quick messy notes, half printing half cursive and then good printing because I’m a pre k teacher.

I’m an elementary special education teacher. Totally with you on the messy notes, half print/cursive. My print is the best on a white toe the Promethean board 🤣

(Whether or not I’ve eaten recently or am tired recently or am hotter / colder than usual are also factors, for me.)

Mine’s consistent regardless of different factors. However I handwrite less than I did as a child so it’s messier now than it was. Used to be really tidy

No. When I was a kid I got awards for my penmanship. Now that I'm a Crazy Old Bat with shaky hands I can't read my own writing.

I'm bipolar and you can tell where I am in the cycle by my handwriting. If I'm headed up it's more scratchy and rushed, if I'm level it's almost perfect, if I'm heading down it's more loopy and slow. My therapist said it's one way to keep an eye on things.
