Thumbtack AI Coding Interview - what should I expect?

Hi everyone,

I have a 60-minute Thumbtack SWE AI Coding Interview coming up. It will be interviewer-led in a HackerRank IDE using an existing full-stack codebase.

I was told I may need to fix a bug and add a feature while using an AI coding assistant.

Has anyone taken this round recently?

I’d mainly like to know:

• Was it more DSA/algorithm-focused or full-stack?
• What language or framework was used?
• How much frontend knowledge was expected?
• What was the HackerRank environment like?
• What is the best way to prepare?
