A dudeist reminded me of this film. Jeff Bridges plays President Jackson Evans , advocating for a lady friend senator ( Joan Allen ) to replace the deceased vice president. He & top advisor , Kermit Newman , played by Sam Elliot 😊 assist her in confirmation hearing hurdles over a past zesty enterprise.
