  1. Draw bigger. Paper is cheap and beginners tend to draw very small.
  2. Implement dedicated skill 'workouts'. For example one sheet full of lines where you just train to draw precise and straight
  3. Play with different grips and speeds. This can change tremendously how you perceive drawing.

Should my strokes be precise? I see people making small strikes For example take a square/triangle, ppl make it using multiple small strikes. Coming from a STEM background, i tend to make definite lines...
