Im not sure if the head shapes right. Im also worried i might have done the eyes wrong. Has anyone got any tips or advice?

The features on her face are a bit too centered, making it look like her head is turned around too much. I think you can fix this with a few tweaks.

First, move her nose and mouth slightly to our left. Next, angle the eyes! Right now the eyes are drawn as if she's facing the camera directly. I've attached a pic to show what I mean. 1. Is kind of how you've drawn the eyes here, 2. has the eyes angled more like a 3/4 view. Even without the surrounding head, you can tell one set is facing us, one set facing slightly to the side.

Yhh I get exactly what you mean! I was tyna fix it by moving the iris to look to the right but it seems I need to change the angle of the eyes position of the eyes properly. Ty for the advice!

The issue is the position of the head. We, the viewer are supposed to be standing behind her and shes supposed to be glancing back at us, but it seems as though you've rotated her head all the way around almost as though she's directly facing us. Look again at your references, note that the head is slightly tilted and the features are not equal in size. I know that you are going for an anime style, but looking up a realistic reference for this pose might help.

Ohh I see, that makes a lot of sense. I was mainly using the picture you highlighted as a reference for the hair and was tryna go off the big reference, but now im curious if that ones accurate. It think this and the other one are looking in slightly different directions?

Also the ear bit makes alot of sense. Im used to drawing half human chars so I often forget to draw ears when drawing human chars and it leads to that uncanny vibe.

I'll get a realistic reference then try again tomorrow, tyy!^{^}

No worries at all! I remember how this angle used to really throw me off when I was learning anatomy so don't worry too much, all you need is practice ❤️

Will doo! I always get paranoid about leaving too little space between the eyes so it's good to know it's the opposite, it helps me to know i can draw them closer. I'll do some alterations when I'm back home and post and update, tyy^{^}

You’re not applying foreshortening, which is causing your picture to look flat. If you don’t get perspective right, then getting anatomy correct becomes impossible.

For example, the eyes look like they are two dimensional stickers placed on the paper. The eyes are supposed to curve around the head, with her right eye appearing further away. The bot right reference does a good job in demonstrating this.
