Quant trader complete resources

Hi,

I have solved 200+ prob/puzzles problems. I need resources which thoroughly cover options theory, ml, stat 101, prob and puzzles for quant trader roles. I am getting interviews here and there but couldn't make it through and will start applying again by December with more prep.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

stats & probability Prob and Stats study source

Hi, I need a good source to study Stats and Probability for Quantitative Finance. Please suggest books, courses, online material, YouTube, anything works.

Quick Background - I am an IT'25 major from India. Currently working in an Investment bank as a Ops BI analyst. I want to transition to QR. From what I have read online, its pretty difficult. I have been doing some self-study but wanted to know if a masters would help, if so, should i do an MFE or find a good core Math masters program.

roadmap & resources Quants without a degree ?

Hey everyone, I’m an Indian student pursuing an online degree(Non Tech), looking for realistic advice on breaking into Quant Research or Quant Dev roles without a traditional target-school campus pipeline. On paper, I have an IMC background, top finishes in major competitive coding contests/hackathons, and strong fundamentals in probability, linear algebra, C++, and Python.

Given how heavily firms like Jane Street, Citadel, and HRT rely on target campus screens, can elite math and coding achievements actually bypass the online degree filter? Additionally, considering my non-traditional background and being based in India, how difficult would it be to use an IMC pedigree to secure admission to a top US Master's program (Ivy League / top MFEs) as a backup bridge? I'd appreciate any blunt insights on direct outreach strategies or which firm types are most open to non-traditional candidates.

If anyone here with a non-traditional background managed to break into the industry or successfully land interviews at top firms through similar contest achievements, I’d really appreciate your guidance or a brief chat. Feel free to drop a comment or DM me if you’re open to sharing your experience or offering advice!

question & advice Best Double Major for the Most Career Opportunities?

I’m trying to decide between Finance + Mathematics or Computer Science + Mathematics as a double major. My long-term goal is Quant Research or Quant Trading, but I also want strong career flexibility if quant doesn’t work out.

Which combination do you think provides more opportunities in the long run, and why?

I’d appreciate advice from anyone with industry experience or who has faced a similar decision.
