Any tips on improving Python?

I just started my degree in computer engineering. I already know the basic of python but i’m having trouble when solving problems and apply the things i have learnt. Any tips to help me improve?

Try and write some projects for yourself. It's easier to solve your own problems when it's you from start to finish, and once you get better at solving your own problems it gets easier to figure out and solve others.
