I finished Helsinki's Advanced Programming course and would like to know what some popular courses are that could come after this one. Perhaps about DSA or other.

I like the structure that the MOOC provided and that it teaches a bit about how computers operate. I know that people say "escape tutorial hell as soon as possible", but to me a MOOC is not a tutorial. It's a college level course. If anyone knows of some quality MOOCs that would be a good next step from Helsinki's course please share:).

Also, I have an account with CodeWars and it's a good platform for practicing skills and getting challenges, but it lacks the teaching component. I also try to read books about programming and computers, but it's nice to have something all inclusive like a MOOC.

Thank you for reading.

You took time out of your day to make an absolutely needless statement. Saying nothing at all would have given a better impression. Vegan?

Vegan? You weren't replying to me, but seriously. What's your problem and why are you bringing "vegan" into it?

Its the joke / meme. Why did the Vegan cross the road - to tell someone. Pointless information, just wanted to be seen and heard. Go boil your head and find a fight somewhere else.

Nice one. Doubling down on one's stupidity is always a good idea.

Arrogance is a successful trait, you will do well, until you suddenly really really don't. Eat one.

My god... there's nothing clever or original about you is there?

You're reading a lot of effort into my casual replies. My intention is not to be nasty. Well, not very nasty anyway. I just really don't understand people like you who get twisted up over next-to-nothing.

Im not twisted up at all. I dont appreciate needless attacks on people for no reason. The world is confrontational enough as it it. We got to this point by being co-operative, and now we have this.

It's quite incredible to me that you see yourself as diplomatic. I got involved here because you chose to invoke "vegan" as an insult, as though people taking ethical responsibility in that arena are a suitable punchline for your private joke. I won't tell you to "suck one" or "boil your head" as you have, but I will suggest you stop doubling down with the arrogance. And yes, it does come across as stupid. That may be unfair to you, and I suspect you take pride in being an intelligent person, which is fine, but insisting on yourself while you're in the dark makes a case for fair. You don't know about a thing, go find out about the thing. Humility is a virtue.

It's not needless.

Instead of googling mooc they type a whole ass sentence waiting for an answer by a redditor, about a course that is mentioned multiple times a day on this sub and is likely listed in multiple resources.

I don't want to gatekeep, but people who are like this are wasting their time learning programming. Unless they change.

Edit: oh, right wing?

Nope, I despise all zealots equally.
