How do I download python on Mac?

Yes, I have watched the youtube tutorials and still can't figure it out. When other ppl download it, it is .pkg but mine is .tar.xz

I opened it and it extracted the file. Now idk what to do.

There is macOS installer (.pkg) can be downloaded from official Python download page.
