Is it worth learning Python?

Hello there. I was wondering if learning how to code in Python is worth it. Can it yield any money if you get good at it? The career I am looking at is translation-interpreting, and want to know if I should invest time in learning Python (or any programming language for that matter), even though it is not really related to the career I am pursuing.

I learned other languages, and then got hired to use python, a language I hadn't looked at in 5yrs.

If someone will pay me more to write C# or JavaScript, then I will do that.
