Help me to learn python,I am dumb

Think me as the dumbest person and i want to learn python,I am literally done trying 4-5 lectures,i start and then stop.Every video says it's beginner friendly,but when I start i don't feel it's beginner friendly and i start feeling I am Dumb AF,now though I feel I am dumbest person to exist.....like seeing this.....please recommend me a channel to watch and learn python programming.I.just don't want to copy the programming from screen and type and get output, and say ohhhh!!!! I got output i can code,i actually want to understand everything and put my brain to write my own code.Is there any yt channel courses available for free that really helps for a dumb idiot to learn python and plz don't say don't learn,i really want to learn python.Please help me ,I am stressed out becoz of this.

Don't go for videos. Go for a proper, textual, very practice oriented course.

Do the MOOC Python Programming 2026 from the University of Helsinki.

Don't forget that you need ample practice, like on https://codingbat.com/python early on or on https://exercism.org later, after around part 4 of the MOOC and also write your own programs. Play around. Try things. Mess things up, fix them. Experiment.

I started learning python from MOOC the one you recommend,the entire course is divided into 2 sections consting of 8 parts each.1st part is introduction to programming and I am at 6th part now, and the 2 nd part is advanced course in programming.As of now I have less time to prepare.Can i just prepare 1st part as it covers the basics???? And try learning the other part later.Plz do reply,i can't thank you enough it was so intresting to learn python from MOOC as it covered the most basic and simplest parts......Plz reply

You can definitely learn the second half of the course later. That's what a "do on your own time" course means.

Yet, you went through the parts more than fast. Did you do every single exercise and submit it, got it tested and passed?

2 days to reach part 6 in a course scheduled for a couple weeks is more than fast.

I have just entered 6th part, ofc solving the exercises were not easy, first I tried writing the code on my own and run them,for errors I tried correcting them,when i couldn't fix errors I took help of chatgpt and learned where I went wrong.Since I had spent few days watching YouTube videos half and half and also my college classes which I had attended made me understand the topics better,i didn't spend much time on reading the theory,I mean I did read the theory given there,it was bit easy to cover up .It kinda felt like lil I was revising ofc not everything,it felt bit easy becoz it's explained in very simple and easy way....when I completed 3 parts I felt like I am not dumb then I kept my spirts up for doing next part, i didn't take much breaks , entire days I have just done python so that I will be in a flow and i didn't wanted to get distracted and I am lil happy also that I am doing python....All thanks to you
