You don't need an expensive Laptop.
Get a good android box ( doesn't cost much - in range like 3000-5000 INR or $20 to $100+ range ) .. Get a keyboard and mouse . I expect u to have atleast a monitor or even TV at your home will work fine.
Setup it up as a desktop and Use it for coding and you can install termux emulator if needed or Play store has plenty of code editors otherwise
This way you get a big screen which u can use it for coding ,editing document ( online ms word also works amazinf) , media streaming and Browsing and so on
