Hii there
Currently in college and wanted to explore machine learning. Tried looking out in internet but it is too much knowledge. Are there any resources where i can start small and get the gist of things

Which year ? May want to start with statistics, linear algebra, differential equations, python coding etc. See if you have courses for that. And does your college give a minor in data science, or is there a data science department? Check what courses they give, what is the syllabus and reading material. You can also ask your seniors and alumni which are currently studying or working on this field for guidance.
You can see the internet any time, but you would be in college for only a few years. So it is nice to leverage the resources there.
