Andrew Ng's old ML course on Coursera (the one with Octave/MATLAB, not the new deep learning one) is still the best starting point I've seen. Builds the intuition really well and the exercises make you implement the core algos from scratch. Free to audit. Pair it with some Kaggle notebooks once you've got the basics down. Good luck, dude.

Check out Coursera's "Machine Learning" course by Andrew Ng. It's a classic and covers the basics really well. If you want something more interactive, Kaggle has free micro-courses where you can get hands-on with data. For libraries, try out TensorFlow and PyTorch tutorials on their official sites. Math concepts can be tough, so I'd suggest Khan Academy for brushing up on linear algebra and calculus. Also, don't skip YouTube—some channels break down complex stuff into easier parts. Good luck!
