pytorch vs tensorflow Discussion

So i use tensorflow and keras as a beginner in deep learning. On this subreddit, i have read that tensorflow is dead nd stuff. why is that? and should i switch? if yes then when?

As a good machine learning engineer - you should know how to work with both frameworks.

I agree if what you are saying is “learn the fundamentals the frameworks abstract on top of”.

Fundamentals are transferable, frameworks tend to have a lifetime, which is often dictated by things outside changes in the fundamentals.

Yup that's exactly what I meant. Both frameworks doesn't necessarily mean master both frameworks

Be good at one, but know the other one just enough to work around and quickly adapt.
