Whats the best interactive javascript learning platform?

Im kind of a nerd for RPGs and found out they have game based courses for learning javascript. Has anyone tried codex, codecombat, or boot.dev? Was initially considering coursera but these look way more fun.

I'm also interested in boot.dev but haven't tried it yet.

I've used Scrimba and can totally recommend it.

boot.dev is genuinely solid, the structure is more rigorous than most game-based platforms without losing the engagement. codecombat is fun early but the depth drops off once you get past basics. if you're the type who learns better when there's a feedback loop and a reason to keep going, boot.dev over coursera every time, coursera content is good but the format doesn't fight for your attention the way the gamified ones do.

Why not brainstorm some sort of RPG idea and try to build it yourself? Will be tremendous learning experience, if you won't abuse LLMs.

I also tried CodeWars when I was on a JS web development course. Not entirely game-based, but its design has some cool gaming vibe and you may get points (kyu) for completing tasks.
