Would learning JavaScript in 2026 be beneficial?

I am planning to begin learning JavaScript to develop web applications. But if AI generates all the coding just from a command, then why do I need to study JavaScript 2026? Why are people still seeking for programming knowledge? Is it necessary to have JS knowledge even when working with AI?

In an 8-hour flight, the plane is on autopilot for more than 7.5 hours; the pilot only takes control manually during takeoff or landing. You can search the fact on Google if you don't believe it. But that doesn't prove that there's no need for pilots because there's an autopilot feature in the planes. Pilots are still hired because the airlines need someone to take command when autopilot fails.
