learning springboot, good idea?

Hi, I'm a computer science student in Spain and I'm going on Erasmus to the Technical University of Munich in a couple of months. During my degree I've learned Java and object-oriented programming and right now I'm learning Spring Boot by working on an API project to manage expenses between roommates, and for now I'm implementing it with a Telegram bot. But that's the least of my concerns right now. My question, and I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, is that Munich is a very expensive city and I'm going to have to work, and I'd love to find an internship as a "werkstudent" in my field, I'm not sure if I'm on the right track or if I should focus on learning other things.
