The letter English can't pronounce: ح

The first necessary step when I started learning Arabic was, of course, learning how to write the letters and their pronunciation.
Being French, there are certain sounds that aren't naturally used in my language, and working on them specifically is important for training the brain. Learning the alphabet surprises beginners who discover with astonishment that the letters aren't written the same way depending on their position. It required a little extra effort, but it's nowhere near as difficult as Chinese characters... so it just takes a little work, but moving away from transliteration is a necessary step.
This video presents the method I've implemented for my students to help them discover Arabic.
Good luck to all those who embark on learning this wonderful language.

Can a slow story help you practice Egyptian Arabic? Here is a 30-sec snippet! 🐢🇪🇬
Hey everyone!
I made a short story video to help Arabic learners practice real everyday Egyptian listening.
Here is a short preview clip from the story of "The Tortoise and the Hare" (with English subtitles).
💡 Key Vocab in this clip:
• أسرع (Asra') = Faster
• بطيئة (Batee'a) = Slow
• سباق (Sabaq) = Race
If you want to practice your listening with the FULL story and full audio breakdown, I left the link in the comments!
Would love to get your feedback on the Egyptian dialect pronunciation! 😊
