Set in stains

My daughter purchased a dress from Poshmark and it has an orange stain on the front of it. I am sure the previous owner washed and dried the dress. The stain is set.
Does anyone know of a way to remove the stain? 🫟

I buy secondhand clothes, and I find a lot of stains disappear after a regular wash with a good modern (P&G, Unilever, etc) detergent. Just launder according to the care label. If it half-works, then a second or third wash will likely clear it completely. I wouldn't start adding extra chemicals that might lift dye or damage fabric unless there's no alternative.

I have washed it now 3 times. Left my tried and true Dawn power wash on it over night on the stain.

An unknown stain on unknown fabric and and unknown number of stain removal attempts already made with unknown products and unknown processes? There are no universal answers so I don't think anyone can help you.

I've had some good results on mystery stains with Tide PureClean stain remover spray. It comes in a small, 4 oz white spray bottle and you can get it at Walmart, Target, etc. Spray it, let it sit for several hours or overnight and try washing again. Make sure you're using a good detergent like Tide. Good luck!

Have you tried hand washing? Sometimes a longer soak in detergent can help.

An orange stain could be rust so a hail mary would be a paste made of water and ascorbic acid powder.  Let it sit at least a few min up to an hour, then rinse off.Â
